The opinion (and body) of anyone who's lifted for fewer than 5 years is completely irrelevant.

ripplebreasts is not a scientist, he is a "quirky" coach who teaches his suboptimal program because he is too insecure to follow despite not knowing how to lead.

Why do you have to make a daily cope thread about not being able to squat more than b***h weight? You do know that you can do squats without doing starting strength, right?
Oh, i forgot. You don't lift. Get the frick off this board.

Squatting helped me more than anything in my daily life. Better posture, less tension in the hips, adductors are stronger, the hip flexors are nice and flexible now. Squats are the SINGLE most important exercise to do, especially for young people, who are very sedentary. Squatting, deadlifting and OHPing makes you immune to scoliosis and all that crap. Your erectors, and the entire posterior chain gets strengthened, and your posture immediately improves. Squats r king.

Not him but they help me day to day. What exactly is your version of "real life"? Fill us in on yours and what you use your body for so we can have a better idea on why you believe they are useless "in real life".

                >nobody irl cares
Every athlete I've ever met cares. I do mma and love running 40s. Girls care about proportions, don't have big legs without everything else big. And if you're strong enough to frick them while carrying them. Squatting 450 has helped me in all regards. Athletes respect me, girls love me.

Stop skipping leg day you weak b***h

Might as well billionare-max and sleep in a hypobaric chamber to stave off the inevitable by 6 months, pussy.

I’m sorry coach Naser, I had the best gains I ever had when I listened for 3 years, I was so beautiful… then I was led astray… I did strength programming… I did frequency… I wasted so many gains. Rest in peace big man.

        bro just start your own
What would it take to open such a gym?
        >50k for equipment..
        >1.5k for rent per month
        >2k per month for an employee and any other running costs.

Let's say we ask for 30 bucks per month per member (call it one dollar a day!)... Need 150 members to pay the running costs plus make 1k per month more... That's 50 months or four years to pay off the initial investment.

Any bank will gladly give you a loan for this as long as you have a list of potential customers. You need to collect at least 300, but better 500 names before you start.

If you wanna make it super-real, do a "crowdfunding campaign" and ask your prospective customers to pay you 30 bucks as proof of interest. I think you'd actually need only 200 people like this so that the bank goes ahead and gives you the loan. You can come up with cool ideas on how to reward your very first members apart from giving them a free month. (...hehh personal locker with a plaque for 200 bucks.)

All you gotta do up front is
        >Select a couple of potential properties where you'd open the gym
        >Come up with a gym floor plan
        >Make a video about how much you hate women and also demonstrating your best lifts
        >Market the shit out of your "indiegogo" by harassing strong looking mfs at the gyms in your city
