I really don't understand what's his point. He could have achieved his current squat numbers while also developing his upper body. He doesn't need to squat every day, he is not a weightlifter or something, but even then, he could squat every day and still have a decent upper body, both in terms of aesthetics and strenght yet he chooses to just keep going with this gimmick while complaining about hip pain, being fat and not looking good.

Let’s say hypothetically he stopped squatting every day and did a program that made sense, and it let him hit his goal of squatting 500. He would not be satisfied because he achieved it a different way than was his original intention.
No he can't. His best front squat is 352, best pull up set is barely 15. His best back squat is 470 but lately he struggles with anything over 400. His training literally sucks. He does like to get sore or try hard
I'm a dyel and my greatest fear is finding out I have the type of muscles this guy has where you get really strong but they just don't grow aesthetically. Without that there is pretty much no point to working hard at the gym in the first place. That Asian calisthenics dude has the same type of muscles that just don't grow
And he does starting strength too.
