Post stats and goals. 1700 is a little aggressive but I was doing something similar on my first cut (5'9 180->155)

Imagine being such a stuck up homosexual that you can't imagine someone eating 200 calories of pocky and whipped cream lmao

Dessert is for children that need to be coerced to take in more calories, for the purposes of growing.
        Dessert for adults is cringe.

I'm guessing you unironically watch Jocko Willink and think you're a tough guy because you sleep on the floor instead of buying a mattress or something

homie you aren't supposed to eat dessert every day, it's empty calories. 1-2 nights a week at most

Who gives a shit? It tastes good.
I'm not OP but I manage to fit oreos/homemade cookies/ice cream into my 1750 calorie cutting diet. I also make stevia lemonade and drink coke zero. None of that has stopped me from losing weight

Kek this is why you got fat in the first place. What's going to better help you get to your goal? Oreos or steak? We don't live forever, there's no time for dessert

hi op it's me again and i just read your post.
given the calories I assume you'd like to lose weight. What you'll learn (with too much reading and experience) is that the most important part of this is actually macronutrient ratios.
This is a learn it now or learn it later kind of thing. But tldr is insulin should be something you care about. Things that raise it should be handled carefully and things that raise it both quickly and substantially should not be considered staples and should be consumed seldomly at best. That means so-called 'high glycemic index foods' which are all your high sugar foods as well as refined grain foods like white bread. If the goal is to lose weight though I would drop both the bread and the oats from your meal plan. Luckily both those meals would be tasty without those carbs. Don't worry just add more of the other ingredients to take their place. I also recommend adding sardines if you have the taste for fish. They're my favorite food and I most look forward to my daily can of sardines which I have every day at lunch with nuts and seeds.
By the way the benefit of adhering to the above theory is that you will have _way_ more consistent energy levels and won't be as hungry as you otherwise would on the same amount of calories. Many people including myself also notice cognitive benefit to prioritizing protein / fat over carbs as caloric ratio contributors. For example I notice I stay focused better at work and my (quite mild) brain fog has dissipated.
If I could recommend one thing to you it would be to commit to a very low carb diet for a full 10 days just to see what happens. If you last 10 straight days I think you'll gleam some info that can't be found otherwise. Just the feelings I experienced during my 10 days cause me to eliminate sugar and refined grains entirely. I still eat rice twice a week tho lul.
have a good day OP I took adderall today

      Thank you, kind sir.

My advice is to cut dessert, eat a bit less protein with supper, get a bit more protein with lunch, and add a 250-500ml glass of milk in the later part of the evening if you're not lactose intolerant - if you are, maybe a casein brotein shake if you can handle it

To those defending dessert... Sure, go ahead and spike your insulin after the biggest meal a day; then wonder why you're not burning fat.
      Frickheads.
