    Eating goyslop makes me feel legit awful afterwards. Both mentally and physically. Only after you've rewired your brain to enjoy actual food do you realise just how dogshit fast food is for you. You won't subject yourself to it if you have any self respect. If you want to go overboard, make your own cheat meal instead. It'll be much more nutritious and you'll appreciate it twice as much.         The fact that the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about treating yourself something special is a pizza, instead of an expensive steak or fine dining, should tell you how broken and addicted you are to slop.

        I used to bake too. There's other minor things but it's mostly hydration and temperature.
        High water content dough and preheated surface is the main requirement.

    If you have any semblance of a social life, cheat meals and even days are going to happen. Sure you can buy one of the healthier options while you're out like the grilled chicken/fish or a salad, but every time you do it you will feel bad wasting so much money on such subpar "healthy" food. Better to plan your life around the fact you're going to indulge a bit while you're out with friends and be strict the rest of the time.

      It all depends on how crazy your cheat meals are, which is something I feel like people don't seem to have common sense about even though it should be obvious.

      If your cheat meal is something like "I had an extra slice of pie from normal", then it basically doesn't matter and you can just go do what you always do.

      If it's "I stayed hungry the whole day and had a big meal at Applebees with friends", worst case scenario you maybe have to dial it in a bit more than usual the next day.

      If it's "I went full hamplanet mode and ate at restaurants and fast food places through a whole day", it can wreck an entire week of progress and you probably need to go see a therapist for your binge eating stupidity.
