I did zero and my knee pain from hack squats disappeared after a few months, you are not losing anything it takes like 10 minutes to do so try it
>hack squats
you are weak
Cope fatty powershitter
Daniel Vadnail (i don't remember how it's spelled) on youtube with fitnessfaqs has an okay tutorial for sissy squats that costs nothing and you can learn to do them fine with just broom handle
Yes but find a doc worth is salt and get to the bottom of the pain. Normally its flat feet.
What's zero? His routin? I play volleyball and also cycling races and these along with lifting fricked my knees good over the years. I added the split squats and sled pulls to my workout and started squating low weight ATG and it helped my kbee pain

Normal dietary intake for the player was not tracked, nor did the player report changes in dietary intake over the length of the study. One hour before the patellar tendon targeted training program, the athlete consumed 15g of gelatin with ∼225mg vitamin C. The supplement consisted of commercial baking gelatin (Great Lakes unflavored beef gelatin) in 16oz of orange juice (containing ∼225mg vitamin C).
Follow-up MRI images were performed after a year in the program (15 months after the first MRI) and a further 6 months later, after the player had been on the program for ∼18 months. The MRI images following 12 and 18 months in the program showed a progressive decrease in MRI reactivity at the inferior pole of the patella in both the sagittal T1-weighted images (Figure1) and the axial SPectral Attenuated Inversion Recovery images (Figure2). At the time of the third scan, a blinded orthopedic surgeon declared the patellar tendon normal. The reduction of reactivity at the inferior pole of the patella was accompanied by a decrease in the diameter of the patellar tendon at the proximal enthesis from 10.8mm at Scan 1 to 8.7 and 8.16mm in Scans 2 and 3, respectively. The decrease in the thickness of the proximal end of the patellar tendon was accompanied by an increase in the thickness at the midpoint of the tendon. The diameter of the midpoint of the patellar tendon progressively increased from 5.74 mm (Scan 1) to 6.16 mm (Scan 2), and then 6.29 mm (Scan 3). This was accompanied by a decrease in T1 and T2 reactivity (not shown). Therefore, the proximal end of the tendon decreased ∼25%, whereas the middle of the tendon hypertrophied ∼10%. Beyond the changes in imaging, self-reported pain and tenderness within the tendon decreased. At the point of the final scan, the athlete was pain free, even though he was playing more than 25min a game.
Thanks for sharing b
He's legit
His main message is good.
>strengthen your knees through full ROM
his methods are 100% gimmick bullshit.
>his methods are 100% gimmick bullshit.
Why? They seem to work.
Nordic curls, reverse nordic curls, ATG split squats, tib raises are all good exercises. Just don't buy all the stupid equipment his cultists buy.
> work knee extension
> work knee flexion
> work hip extension
> fullest RoM you can do
> include unilateral work
do front loaded atg mlg split squats and nordic curls provide any unique benefit? doesnt seem so, thats why they seem gimmickyy
you do you then
Just because you don't envision any benefits it doesn't make it gimmicky.
its legit, been doing variations of his exercises for a year for leg and back mobility + strength. the exercises are very good, dont listen to these crabs, just try them out for a month.
2 you should try for sure:
- atg split squat
- backwards sledding
shit works wonders. helped my dad recover from his knee issues at 60 yrs and is now back skiing
Legit but everything he took is repackaged and renamed from Polliquin’s studies and papers.
