    Use it like a slingshot.
Tape up a bunch of paper into some sort of U shape and get to work.

    COOMER/NIGGER

I have a stripped down approach to working out, pushups, squats, ab roller(only recently) and bands to do rows and hammer curls.
    Highly recommend

    >Saves your joints for longevitymaxxxing.
    >Portable unlike dumbbells or barbells
    >Costs pennies to cable machines. Does the same thing.
    >Just hold for two seconds at the top of the rep for "muh tension curve".
    >Mix it with bodyweight calisthenics and it's all you need.
This is all you ever need.

      >>Just hold for two seconds at the top of the rep for "muh tension curve".
The problem with bands is that there's no tension at the bottom, not the top.

Which is why you hold for two seconds at the end of the concentric to better utilize the resistance in the band.

Do you do speed work on the big 3? I personally use them for high rep curls and triceps extensions if my elbows hurt, and also speed bench.

I once used those and one day at the gym I maxxed out one of the heavier resistance bands and it snapped back towards me luckily it wasn't directly infront of my face but it went back like a giant rubber band and hit a guy mid deadlift and I heard shouting "HEY WHAT THE FRICK MAN" and when he came over I put my headphones in and pretend nothing happened and that I didn't know what he was talking about and went about my routine. To this day he stares at me and I just stare back, it's sort of toxic relationship but it's the only one I've really had these past 7 years.

I thought that they were a meme, but I am warming up to the idea of starting using them, especially when you don't have weights around and want to make bodyweight exercises harder. I've been into mobility so it doesn't hurt for stretching either

i just cant get the image out of my head of a guy with those long yoga pants under regular shorts and calf high socks, usually a manlet, wearing a crisp what looks like never worn ball cap with an apple watch and beats headphones using resistance bands.

    >who cares what people think
Go ahead and look like a homosexual then.
Im just not doing it is all.

    pros:
    >cheap
    >portable
    >easy on the joints
    >provide resistance in any direction/plane without having to position your body in a moronic way to resist gravity
    >useful for modifying resistance curve of free weight and body weight exercises
    >great for (p)rehab and muscle activation before actual workouts
    >increasing or decreasing resistance takes ~0.5s, you just grab it somewhere else
    cons:
    >shitty resistance curve
    >difficult to accurately track actual resistance for progressive overload
    >probably won't get you much gains
