To fight corona my company is giving us $500 towards any one piece of workout equipment. I want to exercise as much of my body as possible so I thought picrel would be the best. What would you buy to work as much of your body with just one piece of equipment
a squat rack, please don't buy this femoid shit
Have fun never using it after the first week
It's a great hanger for shirts
Im trying to do the same but i think i need 2 pieces. Could someone with experience look at the two and tell me his opinion?

If you’re buying the power rack then you don’t need the bench press piece of equipment. Just use the safeties in the rack for the barbell when bench pressing. The rack looks fine. All you need besides that is an actual adjustable bench.
true but he will still need a bench to lay on
Sounds good thank you!
why the frick is that rack more expensive than rogue shit? it doesnt even have westside hole spacing.
Id get the atx prx-755
2 24kg kettlebells and some rogue sandbags
A lot of different sized stones. Stones are cheap and you can pick them up and do all the lifts you need with them.
>Stones are cheap
This doesn't matter as I get reimbursed up to 500 bucks

Literally this, plus a pull-up bar and dip rings for it.
ruck bag with plates and you'll have money to spare for a pullup bar and rings or something.
Buy a real bicycle.
what so you can steal it? no thanks homie
Looks like the shit effeminate s o y gays ride in israelite york city
Enjoying those gas prices fatty?
yeah but then I cant watch tv at the same time
kek
>watching tv
ngmi unironically
what is wronk with tv
This is a better idea than the exercise bike, OP. Get outside, go explore. It’s a lot of fun and you don’t have to act like a cycle douche to do it.
There are definitely more efficient ways to get fit, but life isn’t all about efficiency.
Concept 2
It's for his home, so a waterrower is the correct answer.
What makes those any better?
They're a lot quieter.
If you're just looking for cardio gains then the assault bike is great, absolute murder, but effective. If you're hoping to gain strength and muscle however you would be better off getting a barbell and some plates.
There is ZERO point in buying cardio equipment. Literally just go on a real bike or a run or even just a fricking walk. Get yourself a cage, if you can find a cage that comes with an oly bar and some weights even better if they're only letting you have 1 item
Like that?
https://www.hammer.de/inspire-trainingsstation-full-power-cage-fpc1.html
I do not know much about cages so I can't say if this is a good one or not but I can tell you this type of thing is exactly what you're looking for. It doesn't look like that comes with the oly bar or weights but I might be wrong. If they let you get the cage + weights that's pretty ideal
Its just the rack no weights. I have a few weights at home but i need to stack up to vary the weight
concept 2 rowing machine, no other option is valid
It's for home use, noisy shit like that noise bike he posted or the C2 would be shit.
noise doesnt bother me, I can wear noise cancelling bluetooth head phones
I think hes talking about your neighbors
my neighbors houses are like 100 yards away
Get a good rower. 500 is a good discount on some of the higher end models. Don’t cheap out and only use the company money.
I don't know if there's any device for cable rows for 500 but if there is it would be a good choice.
I use free weights for almost everything but rows are just so much better in a machine.
You should buy fitness equipment that would not be in a gym that you would use. If it’s only one piece you can select I would pick something like a bicycle, but if you can get multiple up to $500 you could get other things useful for the gym like a high quality lifting belt, a good yoga mat, or anything else that you may use.
Buying something that is easily available at any gym is stupid, and sitting inside on a bike cardio machine is excessively dumb.
> get stuff at home so you don't have to go to the gym
A good cardiovascular system is more important to health than your bench. Ignore the frickers telling you to get a cage.
Get an elliptical for a daily couple of hours of cardio that isn’t hellish (The assault bike you’re looking is pure suck, and I say that as someone who loves cardio).
Lift weights at the gym.
>Lift weights at the gym
i dont have a local gym
>pure suck
How so? I've been considering this air bike and really want to get as many opinions as possible.
Not him, but I have no issues with it, though I much prefer using the rogue echo bike over it. Preferred cardio for me is rowing with the echo bike as a close second.
That would be a really good investment. You have to remember, IST is mostly fatties who lift 30kg every couple of weeks and wouldn't last five minutes on an Assault without collapsing and vomiting. You should ignore them and go for it, you'll be fit AF in no time.
BECOME A BULLWORKER MAN!
You'll need something else for legs.
A set of adjustable dumbbells will give you the most bang for your buck. If you buy a cage like some guys said you'll need barbels weights a bench etc. Dumbbells you can do anywhere, even press laying on the floor. And since youre getting into working out get a pullup bar also, even if you have to pay for it yourself its like 20-30 dollars
I'd bet you can get a lot more weight for you money with more old fashioned sets though. Screw on handles + plates. Use the money saved to get a power tower or something.
i agree. i personally hate that style of adjustable dumbbells. they're extremely clunky and awkward to use compared to traditional dbs
My condo has gym so I just use that rather than clutter up my home with big machines. If I had the space though I'd go for an exercise bike. Not that one though. I don't see the point in moving your arms back and forth while cycling and it looks annoying as frick. Also, I prefer one that is more adjustable (move seat back and forth rather than just up/down). But since I don't have the space I'd probably still get an exercise bike and immediately sell it.
Air dyne is a great tool, when used properly - almost like a torture device. Since you are probably a beginner, you wont utilize it properly and it will collect dust.
Better buy some kettlebells.
>Since you are probably a beginner
I am not though, I am getting lazier and only want to do one exercise a day
if you want a cardio machine i concur with everyone saying you should get a rowing machine. actually involves arms rather than just moving the handles around.
One of these but with a pull up thing at the top
My gym has one as such and no one uses them.
Get an echo bike instead. It's better
Assault bikes are very good pieces of kit however I'd argue that if you literally have nothing you're much better buying a cage and weights.
An assault bike is the kind of thing you'd buy if you already had a full gym with a spin bike and treadmill.
In addition, assault bikes are fricking tough. It's not the kind of thing you go on and leisurely build up, it has one setting.
If you really don't want to do weights (you should) then get a decent spin bike, treadmill or rowing machine.
Do not buy a stationary bike. Use that 500 to get like a Trek FX1 or something similar.
I want one of those someday. My home gym would also have a rower.
For most bang for your buck, it's kettlebells.
For weight lifting, get a power cage and a bench. Maybe some adjustable dumbells.
You could do a lot with all that
Also
If you're looking for the best piece of workout equipment...
Get some running shoes ya dingus, and save yourself $400
Air bike is hard to beat at that price point.
