Uhhh wasnt he squatting like 220kg like a year ago? Posted on March 9, 2023 by Anonymous Uhhh wasn’t he squatting like 220kg like a year ago?
Two weeks without roids.
One day he will look back and wonder what the point was
the point was he taught me training for strength is pointless
I think he already has admitted several times that likely he would progress better with a normal program that has you squatting 2-3 times per week.
stacking up views and subscribers getting passive income off youtube
wonders what point is
>working out and editing videos everyday
You clearly haven't watched the videos if you think he doesn't spend maximum 10 minutes editing a video
Ivan ain't making shit
the ad and patreon money
Sad to see someone take their own life
When hes is a wheelchair with no knee cartilage and fucked hips and spine discs kek powerlifting is even dumber than bodybuiding .
muscle memory. investing in your own body is the bestinvestment you can do
he would have more muscle if he squatted and deadlifted less frequently
he's just wearing out his joints
Is there anything weirder than an Australian who is into basketball? I played basketball when I was a kid but it always seems to be that Australians who play it past the age of 16 are peak weirdos and have some strange superiority complex because they aren't into soccer of footy.
And then theres the people who watch American basketball in their adulthood (or even worse, watch Australian basketball).
It's more bc he's of balkan heritage. Balkan bros LOVE basketball
"everyday" is an adjective; he means "every day".
I don't get why you guys hate on this guy. I've never even watched one of his videos, but he's done something pretty cool, and he can't really stop now. It'll be kind of sad when he finally has to admit defeat.
They're mad they can't squat as much.
I love Ivan but his mindset won't let him make it
Squat is not a fucking snatch or imanari roll
You should not practice it every day AS A MOVEMENT
bro have great genetics for bench and potential to put another 10-15kg on his frame WITH EVERYDAY TRAINING with decent program
He just chose to be Sisyphus idk why
Embrace the suck, he said it himself. He's basically white man Goggins. Who knows what prompted him to embark I this madness.
I love the guy don't get me wrong, but it's clear this squat shit isn't working.
>white man Goggins
Eastern europeans aren't white...
Are you saying "snatch every day" could be a decent series, or is it just something every good oly lifter does?
Regardless...I don't see the point to do quads three days in a row. I mean, use the time for other body parts. That's bad use of energy expenditure.
I personally try to snatch as often as possible
It's not as cns taxing as heavy cleans and it takes more to learn it with high level technique
Also power snatches with a bar reduce fatigue after squats
Hang(!) Power snatches or box jumps
He's a slav, he loves to suffer
>squatting 3 days in a row
pure strength training can be done daily. the "wait 48 hours" applies to hypertrophy training
Nope. Can do hypertrophy training every day as well. The "wait 48 hours" is entirely a meme to make people feel better about taking days off.
Na nogga you cant just say that and dip, wtf do you mean?
It's pretty clear. What would you like me to elaborate on?
Nope you are only at peak in a specific time frame
I guess if you do singles with 85% or lower you can do that every day but you can't train maximally every day
his 1RM is 212.5
His videos are just him whining about being a male nurse with kids and how tired he is etc. How can anyone watch this shit?
its relatable and he doesn't try to sell me anything
I haven't even been able to train squats or deadlifts since last June due to a bulging disc and in that time he's made ZERO gains.
he could do ass to grass on 160kg on day 1 of this and now does 200kg
Big deal when I first started it only to me 2 months to add that much to my squat
Dude has to squat the burden of having an ugly ogre wife every day
the 200kg is the least of his problems, trust me
Don't know don't care. Sage
supposedly there is a type of fatigue that is beyond CNS and peripheral muscular fatigue, some sort of spinal/joint damage related fatigue that limites your muscular force output either by limiting your motor unit recruitment and thus the number of muscle fibers that pull against resistance or just the amount of force that muscle fibers in general produce thus lowering mechanical tension experienced which leads to less strength muscle gains
I think there are some articles about it, they explain why heavy squats and deadlifts are "fatiguing" even though they only produce very miniscule amounts of CNS fatigue, it has something to do with your body sensing and reacting to structural damage particularly around your joints and cartilage such as your spine
this explains why even olympic weightlifters are not put in hypertrophy blocks with high muscle building workout frequency.
>See this guy in my recommended
>Try to watch couple of his videos
>Guy comes off as really whiny and progress seems like utter shit for squatting consistently for that long
Not sure what the appeal is.
Not that 200kg squat is anything to scoff at, but I'd expect a bit more from this kind of an undertaking.
He's the nikicado of squats. A slow motion trainwreck.
>Squat everyday Day 2473: i murdered my wife and kids
