I think he already has admitted several times that likely he would progress better with a normal program that has you squatting 2-3 times per week.

Is there anything weirder than an Australian who is into basketball? I played basketball when I was a kid but it always seems to be that Australians who play it past the age of 16 are peak weirdos and have some strange superiority complex because they aren't into soccer of footy.
And then theres the people who watch American basketball in their adulthood (or even worse, watch Australian basketball).

I love Ivan but his mindset won't let him make it
Squat is not a fricking snatch or imanari roll
You should not practice it every day AS A MOVEMENT
homie have great genetics for bench and potential to put another 10-15kg on his frame WITH EVERYDAY TRAINING with decent program
He just chose to be Sisyphus idk why

Embrace the suck, he said it himself. He's basically white man Goggins. Who knows what prompted him to embark I this madness.

Are you saying "snatch every day" could be a decent series, or is it just something every good oly lifter does?

pure strength training can be done daily. the "wait 48 hours" applies to hypertrophy training

Regardless...I don't see the point to do quads three days in a row. I mean, use the time for other body parts. That's bad use of energy expenditure.

I personally try to snatch as often as possible
It's not as cns taxing as heavy cleans and it takes more to learn it with high level technique
Also power snatches with a bar reduce fatigue after squats

Nope. Can do hypertrophy training every day as well. The "wait 48 hours" is entirely a meme to make people feel better about taking days off.

Nope you are only at peak in a specific time frame
I guess if you do singles with 85% or lower you can do that every day but you can't train maximally every day

supposedly there is a type of fatigue that is beyond CNS and peripheral muscular fatigue, some sort of spinal/joint damage related fatigue that limites your muscular force output either by limiting your motor unit recruitment and thus the number of muscle fibers that pull against resistance or just the amount of force that muscle fibers in general produce thus lowering mechanical tension experienced which leads to less strength muscle gains

I think there are some articles about it, they explain why heavy squats and deadlifts are "fatiguing" even though they only produce very miniscule amounts of CNS fatigue, it has something to do with your body sensing and reacting to structural damage particularly around your joints and cartilage such as your spine

this explains why even olympic weightlifters are not put in hypertrophy blocks with high muscle building workout frequency.

    >See this guy in my recommended
    >Try to watch couple of his videos
    >Guy comes off as really whiny and progress seems like utter shit for squatting consistently for that long

Not sure what the appeal is.
Not that 200kg squat is anything to scoff at, but I'd expect a bit more from this kind of an undertaking.
