            When im lower body fat than now my abs is hardly visible because i dont do abs that time. Right now after doing abs work situp+legraise combo can do each 80-100x now my abs pop out at higher bodyfat and i look awesome now. Still need to lose some % fat tough

    the most common thing is people greatly underestimate their bodyfat. They think they are 18% and will get ripped abs in 3 months. When in reality they were 24% and have another 3 months ahead of them. Then they end up burning out and make threads on IST about how to get rid of "stubborn" bodyfat.

    Since this is an ab thread:
    1. My max time on planks is 30 seconds three times. I add 5 seconds every session with planks. What time duration should I max out on so that I can move to weighted planks?
    2. Is there some sort of progression for Dragon flags? Like should I be able to do hanging toes-to-bar leg raises before trying to do Dragon flags? I heard it's hard.

      1. I never heard anything about this but at least 60sec hold is probably good place to start.
      2. There are a shit ton of people that have made youtube vids and guides on this so search around. I don't think that is any requirement but i find it hard to believe that anyoen can do a dragonfly without doing a toes to bar hanging leg raise. Toes to bar hanging leg raise aren't that hard you'll get there very quickly.

                And no I don't do hanging leg raises. I used to do a lot of ab work but then I realised it was pointless. Doing too much ab work will make your midsection too blocky and doesn't look aesthetic.

                Now I don't hit abs at all. My abs get enough work from all the heavy compound lifts I do.

                i do 2-3 sets on the ab roller and this yoga video everyday. but like, if youre doing dead lifts, you'll get them eventually. i only do romanian deadlifts once a week so i supplement it with these core work outs.
                pull ups help too.

    if you cant do 150 crunches a day do your best until you can
    when you can do 150 a day in about 3-4 sets you will have abs
    after that it's only a matter of losing weight until you can see them (this is harder than the crunches themselves)

    All the people saying "le fork putdowns" do not have abs
    sure, 90% of the process is losing bodyfat, but unless you want to go auzwich mode, you have to do INSANE amounts of corework aswell.
    I work my frickin abs 6 times per week to have them show, if I don't, they are barely noticable.
    So cut, cut like fricking crazy, get down to atleast 12% bodyfat, but from there, you better start doing crunches and legraises like your life depends on it aswell.

    to answer your question, just eat less. that's it. abs are difficult to maintain, though, as you also have to be mindful of your fluid intake. in some environments, it's moronic to be "shredded" because your body requires a lot of fluids. ever seen a shredded/dry siberian? nope. but yes, for abs you need to really limit your caloric intake and also fluid especially if you have a competition coming up
