How heavy do you think 4pl8 actually is?

1/2/3/4 is literally ISTs goal and the majority can't deadlift it.
From my personal gym experience 99% of gym goers can't deadlift 4pl8 after training consistently, so pretty fricking impressive they can do it without training.

        >literally ISTs goal
1/2/3/4 is just the first beginner milestone.

For power lifters yes, otherwise that is stronger than 85% of the entire global population

If I hit 1/2/3/4 should I just powerbuild from there?

Ahem. When I hit 1/2/3/4 should I switch to powerbuilding?

        >goal
Lmao, it's when you can start thinking that maybe you aren't permaDYEL anymore, but if that's your goal that's damn pathetic.

Hahahahahahaha, yes but also frick no.
Hanging out with the boys making jokes being outside lifting heavy shit getting shit done yeah that's a lot of fun.
the tons of back pain knee pain shoulder pain and eventually drug and alcohol abuse is not.
The money also sucks ass even though to the average person it seems like a fair amount it's not, not for everything you have to sacrifice

It can be, it's certainly more enjoyable when youre working with people you get on with, can be otherwise
I dunno what other peoples experience is but we deal with a lot of on the fly problem solving which can be rewarding when you hash out a plan and it works out well

      Depends what you're doing.
If you have a good trade like a sparky then it's fun, if you're just a bricky then it's miserable.

Yep. People want to think manual laborers are all broken and fat like them but in my experience most of us do some amount of excercise in our free time to make work easier and compensate for our drinking habits.

I’m construction you’re bending over lifting shit all day this isn’t too surprising tbh. I’d be more interested to see this fitness guy work with the crew for a week.

huh a construction site where all the workers have decent form and a consistent set up, meanwhile i go to a gym and nobody pulls because they either don't know how, or don't want to... almost as if its fake and gay
