I'll start: oil pulling. Basically when you wake up you swish around coconut oil in your mouth for 10 minutes to get the shit and grossness out of your mouth that is there from your lymph nodes purging it out while you sleep. I think it has made my teeth cleaner at least.
Similar to this, saline purge. "Drink" some saltwater with your nose afterwards to finish cleaning out your sinuses. These are a nice way to purge and get yourself in gear to start the day.

That wasn't an appeal to authority, what the fuck are you on?
Appeal to authority is when you believe someone or something has authority over you and claim "because this person/thing" said so and "its a law."

>fasting is the best way to lose pure fat in the least amount of time
Qrd on fasting for fat loss vs cico or PSMF
Cico of course is an undeniable fact of reality. The problem lies in the weight that is lost on a calorie cut. You want to lose fat and not muscle. A lot of the weight that is lost while you are restricting calories, but also continuing to eat food, is muscle. You hear stories of people gaining and losing the same 15 lbs and their lifts going up and down with weight because they lose muscle. It should be avoided at all costs
If you restrict food entirely (100% calorie deficit) for up to 10 days, you lose 0 muscle because your body compensates while you are fasting by changing the hormones in your body to be extremely muscle sparing. For this reason, a protein sparing modified fast makes 0 sense because 0% of the weight lost in a 10 day fast is muscle, so long as you do light exercise like very mild weight lifting. Load bearing muscles increase in strength by a small amount and non-load bearing muscles are unaffected. Your muscles are not magically being spared though. You begin the process of autophagy, breaking down your internal organs. They shrink and are consumed for fuel to maintain your brain, sex organs, and muscles. Combine this with a retarded amount of HGH coursing through your body and you lose 0% fat on a 10 day fast. You can only go about 10 days without potentially burning muscle because that's how many days it takes to get your internal organs to shrink to their minimum limit. Your organs re-expand when you begin eating again, not only going back to normal, but they have also been improved, as the cells that are broken down are the damaged or useless ones. They're broken down to fuel the healthiest cells. 40% of weight lost is pure fat. 60% is useless organ tissue, water, plasma, etc.
up to 10 days fasting while lifting weights lightly each day
10 days to regrow internal organs
10 days fasting
repeat until lean
Last fast lost 4.2 lbs of pure fat in 6 days. Tracked strength and it stayed the same and I also improved OHP
Okay Okay, I see your angle here.
So I've always wanted to experiment with this specifically. But I was scared of muh mass. Keep in mind I have a shit ton of loose skin too. I just want to hear ur thoughts on this idea
MT, TF, xULxULx
So MT, TF, Eat, do a 36 on W, and a 54 on SS.
Would that be alright?
My main goal is actually to shrink my stomach, like you know how you can't eat as much after fasting? That. But muh masssss
I'd say shoot for 4-10 days at least and at most. Your hormone profile is still net set up for protein sparing in the first 4 days of fasting, at least not as well as it can be. With your plan, you are going to be spending 100% of your fasting time in the worst part of the fast, which over time may lead to muscle breakdown over a longer period of time. 10 days of fasting does not lead to muscle breakdown, but if you look at people that do alternate daily fasting they do experience losses in lean mass over time. Although you wouldn't necessarily be doing ADF, it's likely that you would lose some muscle doing it that way. You won't get the benefits of increased HGH, autophagy increase, significantly lowered insulin, etc.
Longer fasts may be recommended to maximize protein maintenance, as protein sparing comes after heavy proteolysis in the first 4 days. Since autophagy is cranked up heavily after 4 days as well, you'd want to spend as much time as you could past the 4 day mark. Autophagy has anecdotally been shown to decrease or eliminate loose skin entirely
What if I did a 5-2 Fast, but Fast for 5, eat for 2, fast for 5, repeat?
You'd probably lose muscle like that. I don't think 2 days of eating would be sufficient to completely restore your organs to their original size. You might be able to find some studies on that to know exactly how long it takes. I wouldn't rush the process
I'm actually not to worried about the length of time, I just don't want to go Hypo, I get really Tinnitussy and faint doing it, but I get that in a cut anyways so....
So what I'm getting is either do a 3+ fast, or bust? cuz in opposite I'd rather do a 5-2, and not eat SS, but then again that goes to the muscle sparing..
To add to it or clarify, the real differences between fasting vs regular cico is the hormonal profile your body produces, which affects the type of weight lost and how it is lost. Research can be overviewed by looking into studies does by the buchinger-wilhelmi fasting institute. They seem to be the only people so far that have really good studies on this kind of thing, as this is an area that has barely been researched by scientists, but the findings are pretty consistent that fasting is a pretty great way to lose fat specifically rather than muscle. Buchinger-Wilhelmi needs to grow some balls though. They feed their subjects with up to 500 calories of teas, juices, and honey every day. It's all carbs, which is quite literally the worst macro for maintaining a fasted hormonal profile. Regardless, they've gotten some pretty great results, even with their insistence on feeding subjects goddamned honey and juice every day.
Basic premise is that the body preferentially burns carbs before fat or protein. Insulin is released to utilize carbs. If insulin is high, it impedes upon the ability to burn fat at the optimal rate, so by keeping insulin very low you extract fat very easily to use as fuel.

I line my hats with lead sheeting because the new brainwave scanning-at-a-distance tech and AI neural signal decoders are so good that you can use a smart phone with the right app to read peoples minds.
WEF gave a talk about how they can read peoples minds by remotely scanning any part of the body since they can reverse engineer your brains neural patterns from nerve signals sent to the various parts of your body through your nervous system.
I might have to fabricate a non-toxic lead based body suit.

How do people afford to eat well enough to maintain good fitness?
one in three Americans make less than 15$/hour and around 75% make less than 50k a year. Canada and Europe are in greater poverty than that. Most American cities are drug infested wastelands. Where do you get the money to do fitness? You must all be military and tech industry.
I'm in Europe and I eat very well with €120
Europe must be doing better than people say then.
USA and Canada are pretty fucked.
I guess it depends on the place, I live mostly in two countries and the difference is not massive, however I need to tailor my diet accordingly. ie salmon is dirt cheap in a place and very expensive in the other, same for fat free products and, ironically, even oats. Processed food is always far too expensive, if I want a cheat meal I'm cooking it myself from scratch fuck that.
a month of course
I just started getting food stamps. I buy nice shit at the fancy liberal grocery store and still have way more money on it than I can use.
You're looking at it all wrong. You have to make it a non-negotiable priority. I spend like $300 a month on food, which ultimately is all you need to thrive (not just survive). That is also not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. If you wanted a gym membership, LA fitness has literally everything you would need and it costs like $50 a month. If you calculated your food into the equation (You shouldn't, since food is a bare minimum absolute necessity regardless of fitness), then you would spend $3,600 a year on food. You would spend $600 a year for a membership at LA fitness. $4,200 total. If you can't scrape together $4,200 a year for fitness related goals then you will never make it. Don't buy bullshit supplements or any gear that you don't need. Literally nothing is going to help you beyond having access to a gym and having food. Eat, train, sleep. That's all you have to do. Stop wasting your money on useless horseshit and make exercise a priority before all else
I don't know where you live or how much you weigh, but you're not breaking 190lbs/85kg in weight or muscle gains on 300$ a month in food.
Bone in ham is $2.54 a lb and is universally cheap all across the entire country. So is boston butt, chicken leg quarters, and all kinds of other cheap cuts of meat
60 lbs of meat (2 lbs per day) for a month is $152. Some of the weight is bone, so you have to add more. it roughly equals out to $200 a month. If you want to add calories, sugary shit is very inexpensive. This gives you all the protein you need. If you want to get fancy and throw in some micros, eat eggs. Also, you're a fag
Prices are a lot lower in your area. but you're right, you can live on 300$/month if you go bare bones just meat and barely any vegetables.
Anon on that Dr.Seuss diet.
A good diet has no price
but that doesnt mean eat 4 protein bars a day because fuck it bro I like it
Tallying Everything Up, over the course of the week:
at max I eat like 20$ a day, at minimum its like 3$, a single order from McD's is like 5$
>A good diet has no price
A top notch diet of only fresh food cooked at home is 550$ a month.
That's 6600$ a year.
So take this
>one in three Americans make less than 15$/hour and around 75% make less than 50k a year
75%-33%(one in three) = ~42% of the non-elite country have the money to eat well enough for fitness.
So the maths not off.
At my Walshart
A pound of Shrimp is $7.50
A pound of chicken is $2.95
Of course I want the fucking shrimp, but I can't have it can I?
>eats homemade french fries and burgers daily for $2
There's approximately 140 grams of protein in a lb of chicken breast, and to maintain muscle mass, you have to eat a gram of protein per lb of body weight, but you don't want your protein to be all chicken so basically you have to eat a lb of chicken and 60grams of protein from another source if you are 200lbs body weight.
That's around 3 dollars a day in chicken which is 90$ a month. Realistically you aren't going to get all the protein from chicken because of waste from cooking/preparing, so round the cost of waste into the price and at 2.95$ you will be spending 100$ on chicken a month. That's 100$ a month that covers 3/4ths of your daily protein need. not to mention 2.95/lb is super low price, last I checked prices had risen most places.
Protein = 1.6-2.8g / kg of LBM
Fat = 25-50% / lb of LBM
By definition, if we assumed a mass monster at 200 lbs was 10% BF, thats 180, 80% of that (or 1.8, or 0.8) is 144g only per day, and thats accounting for the markup of 1.6 or 0.72
Then take their mass and divid it by 25-50%, that 45-90g of Fat a day
To be generous, Fat is higher, so 60g, so you need 150g of Protein, and 60g of fat to survive, not assuming carbs
Lets assume Chicken Breast is 4 dollars a Pound, a pound of breast is 100g for me, so you would need 10 dollars per day, for your protein requirements this also generated ~12g of fat
So you need 50g of fat left, Lets call it some Peanut Butter, upon a quick search 1-16oz jar is roughly $3 dollars gives 14 servings, and needs 3 for 45g of fat. Thats .64 Cents.
Then oats to round out the diet would be something like 2 bucks, not doing the math there
So all in total its like 15 a day, times 7 times 4, which comes out to 400 dollars a month, or 4800 a year, keep in mind this would be to feed the most Massive monster in history. A real human topped out would be only like 160g of per Muscle, which makes things even cheaper. So yes, it is expensive, but remember you are assuming ur getting muh max quality here ON A BULK, on a cut you save like 25% of that.
I actually know these statistics because when I was Binge Purging I did all the math to justify this...
>this would be to feed the most Massive monster in history.
>a mass monster at 200 lbs
An athletic man at a height of 6 feet and above will weigh 200lbs or more, those aren't "monsters" those are averaged sized people (depending on the country you live in).
you aren't 10% at 200 pounds naturally, unless you are 6'2+ after 5 years of training, and by then you know how to eat
roiders are typically 250lbs and above.
if you're roiding you are beyond the scope of the "being fit on a budget" concept
I'm 6 ft. Based on my body fat levels, I'd be 10% at 200 (actually 198). I'm not even that strong or big. Very much natural
perhaps I may be out of scope with my genetics speak then
however, the point still stands on pricing, and thats on someone typically out of the norm.
also are you actually 10%, or "10% bro", most people dont just get to 10% just for the fuck of it
No, I would be if I lost a fuck ton of weight. I am shooting for 10%. I calculated it from entering my stats into various body fat calculators online and then found my lean weight and added 10% body fat to get to that number. I'd say it's accurate, as I maintain a list of celebrities and fitness influencers that are my height and that are where I want to be. I keep track of how they looked at certain weights and also included their feats of strength at the time. Benching 2pl8 for reps and assuming you're 6ft and around 10% body fat you would be between 200 and 210. Guys that are about 10% and that can hit 3pl8 for a few reps are around 220 if they have a balanced build. Hackenshmidt was 220 and natty. Lots of guys can look like him
oops my bad, you said AT 200. I did the same thing u did for my GW
I myself at 5'8 would be 12% at 175 at the worst case scenario, something like 15% at 195 best, this is with no bulking experience either, all cutting (aside from the dirty bulk prior to the gym lmao)
After lifting for a year, you should know what machines/exercises hit certain muscles. To Hispanice it up, add a machine to your routine and start with low weight. Add 5lbs each time you do it and max that shit. You'll get bonus gains
