Off the rack clothes fit like shit. They're made so God damn boxy for fat fricks whose waists are as wide as their shoulders. I busted out a sewing machine and am learning to tailor my own shirts because I've had enough.
What do you wear to fit your IST physique?
And to make it more fit, what body parts should be accentuated to give a v-taper? I think the most important three are shoulders, shoulders, and shoulders.
at this point I've given up. Good quality tees (cloth wise) that are fit well on my shoulders and chest are too big for the lower torso. On the other hand, if I go two sizes smaller, it fits well down under but gf says I look like one of those underarmour douchebags who wear skin tight clothing.
There's no in between, so I've come to terms with the skeletal look. The only consolation is big sizes tees are comfy and airy. Nobody even notices it anymore.
I refuse to give up. Following a youtube tutorial right now, will post results later today when I figure out how to use the sewing machine.
>two sizes smaller
>There's no in between
Vuori shirts are nice.
Vuori seems like one of the few companies that make clothes by fit people for fit people.
Is this a meme? Their seems don't have the slightest taper, they're boxes just like every other shirt only they charge 3x as much because muh brand.
*seams, freakin autocorrect
Buy clothes in an european or asian cut. American clothes are designed for fats, euro clothes are designed for women.
>Asian
Not anymore. They embraced the boxy cut now.
Buy a shirt that fits your shoulders, and bring it to a tailor to taper in the mid section.
This is my plan but for now I found 3 shirts that are semi-decent so I'm just rotating through those until the next bullmarket and I can afford a proper tailor.
I buy those $6 shirts from target. Tight on my shoulders and arms and slim on the waist. Very nice quality.
store brand?
Yeah, it's called goodfellow. They sometimes shrink if you wash them too much but you can just get a size up and you'll be fine.
i buy their chinos too, theyre conmfy and cheap af too.
I have a 27 inch waist bro
I have to get alterations on all my pants and find t shirts that aren’t so loose but it’s not that bad
OP here, 27.5" waist but decent shoulders. Nothing fits off the rack. Nothing.
40 inch chest and 33 inch waist. it sucks for shirts. i either wear ones that are too big and hang off my chest for day to day shit. for going out in evenings ill wear ones that are too tight on the chest/arms and form fitting for my waist. i recall years ago that walmart/target had cheap fruit of the loom crew or v-necks that were slim fit and looked perfect for IST people. now they are all box cut. fricking fatties.
Forget shirts, where do you guys get pants? Literally nothing fits my ass and legs.
I buy 32-34 waist pants and wear a belt. I'm too cheap to get them tailored
Rule of threads tees. Next level 3600 if cheap
I tuck my shirts in for work but I use my wifes clothing company and get a good fit where I fill it out but it's not skintight I don't wanna post the brand and shill/dox myself
