isn't the morality argument working only in vacuum, tho? in order to farm plants you need to kill all animals acting as pests for your crops, yieldong higher kill/death ratio than conventional meat farmig and smaller food yield?

      Anonymous

      >in order to farm plants you need to kill all animals acting as pests for your crops
This is the most inane argument against veganism of them all. It betrays you lack basic comprehension of how the food supply works at all.

All of the animals you consume are fed grains that are grown explicitly for animal consumption. 2/3 of our plants are grown for this purpose. It is incredibly energy-inefficient and if we fed humans directly it'd cut down resource consumption by over half.

      >half the consumption, half the dead rodents and insects
Both of which are minuscule in comparison to the routine and overt torture of hundreds of millions of sentient beings for human consumption every single year. Even if it didn't result in a single rodent being saved it would be made absolutely toothless by it's comparison to the ritualized slaughter we currently practice.

/Sigh, wrong, moxy, on so many levels.

2/3rds of the plants we grow are used to feed animals. That sentence doesn't mean what you think it means. It means that the parts not edible by humans, like the stalks, leaves, etc, are fed to animals in the form of roughage. The grains fed to animals are not human-grade either. Nobody would eat that shit. We don't feed animals food that humans could eat. Because it would kill our profit margins. You incredible moron.

Animals are an indispensable part of the agricultural system. Without them, untold quantities of biomass would just rot, because its only use is as animal feed. The land would go barren, because you have to cycle cattle on farmland every once in a while, or you get the dustbowl scenario. There's only so much you can do with artificial fertilizers, as more and more monocropping morons are finding out.

In short, you are incredibly stupid, and should have a nice day, Moxyte, nobody likes you.

        >if we fed humans grass or cattle feed it would be better
Land which is used for animals is not necessarily good land for crops. Consider Wales and Wyoming. Lots of available land, almost none of it is arable. But there's enough grass to raise cattle.

Additionally, the sort of monoculture crops used to feed animals should be something you're against as a vegan, since it destroys the land and the environment

        Anonymous

Incorrect. 90%+ of all monocrop farming is for humans. Animals are fed the waste products.

Monocrop farms kill far more animals per year than even the most intensive factory farms kill livestock.

Monocrop farms destroy the soil. Pastured livestock regenerate the soil.

Monocrop farms leech chemicals into the environment killing birds and bugs. Livestock live in equilibrium with the rest of the environment.

Veganism is dependent on global food shipping especially in colder climates. Livestock farming enables complete nutrition to be produced locally.

Veganism destroys health and fertility and requires supplementation, creating large harmful industries that prey on sick people.

        Eat animals, reject israeli propaganda.

That's great but it seems I've presented a few dozen sources and you've presented zero (0)

Lol, moron. Intramyocellular lipids occur after your dumb fat liver isn't able to store the consequences of your moronation any longer. (PUFA, carbs, alcohol, etc.) It's a hallmark of metabolic disease, not the cause of it. Sugar is causal to metabolic disease and it's actually proven already. Stop being moronic, diabeto. Blood sugars being high is a sign someone isn't properly dieting or eating too much SUGAR, which would indicate they're not in ketosis or are type 1 diabetic, which isn't the same as insulin resistance.
Fricking moron, holy shit lmfao. Google has vested interest in vegan products, use alternative search engines. You won't, because you're a vegan shill.

Nah that's bullshit. Dr. Harold Himsworth discovered Type 2 diabetes and cured it by putting people on a high-carb (carbs = sugar) extremely low fat diet.

Pharmaisraelite ignored the curing bit because they make a lot of $$$ selling morons insulin. Ketoisraelite then realized you can put a bandaid over the issue by eliminating all sugar to alleviate the symptoms, however there are literally THOUSANDS of testimonials from ex-ketolards and current delusional ketolards who talk about have diabetic-level blood sugar the moment they eat a carb meal. The opposite is not demonstrated in the case of an actual cure.

          Basically, you haven't solved shit.

Meanwhile, doctors who have cured type 2 diabetes every time with a high-carb low-fat diet
          >Dr. Harold Himsworth

          >Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn

Wheat grows in arable land. I'm referring to grasses that don't (i.e not cash crops).
Cattle typically eat various wild grasses in their grazing lands, trimming them down without killing them, and supplying the soil with nutritive waste as they roam, producing topsoil. If the rancher is smart enough, he'll herd the cattle through sections to allow the grass to seed to keep the grass regenerative. No cash crops required.
Cash crops like wheat strip the topsoil without regenerating it. This will be a major issue soon, but topsoil takes a long time to recover if not constantly regenerating. Destructive agriculture. Vegans are inadvertently promoting destroying the planet through non regenerative farming practices.

Only concern is B12 which would be in our soils naturally but said pharmaisraelite destroyed the soil microbiome with pesticides. Now it has to be supplemented. Only reason meat has sufficient B12 is because the animals are given synthetic injections too.

          >Cottonseed oil then began to be used illegally to fortify animal fats and lards.[41] Initially, meat packers secretly added cottonseed oil to the pure fats, but this practice was uncovered in 1884. Armour and Company, an American meatpacking and food processing company, sought to corner the lard market and realized that it had purchased more lard than the existing hog population could have produced.[

People were unknowingly eating oil slop and getting fat from it before it was even considered a staple food!

            when did israelites enter america?
seems no matter how much you read, america is the most israelite nation of all, constantly trying to sell people poison, from flouride byproducts dumped in water that was made as a byproduct from aluminum, to goy slop trans fats, to asbestors. Any thing bad for human health, they tired and succeeded in sneaking it in by selling it as a product.
            its literally a nightmare country.

Vegans are moronic. Also every vegan suffers health problems from their shitty diet. Most just don't have the intellectual integrity and honesty to say "my diet is harming me, I need to eat animal products at least occasionally if I want to be healthy."

Most die in their 60s. Meanwhile vegans are PROVEN to have the greatest lifespans, least health issues, and greatest sense of wellbeing. Vegetarian centenarians are a dime a dozen. Meanwhile I have to sit here and read piles of nonsense about wheat roughage and vegans "destroying" the environment because apparently composting hasn't been invented and somehow factory farms are a regenerative form of recycling.

There are so many logical leaps and absolutely zero willingness to sit down and discuss things like adults. You refuse to read studies. You refuse to look at the evidence. Ex-vegans eat far less animal products than the general population and stop for a variety of reasons. I was vegan for well over a decade and it suited me fine. Healthy, high energy, perfect bloods. I no longer consider myself vegan as I moved out of the city to the coast and have backyard chickens. I'll eat eggs or seafood maybe once per month, not because I feel I need to, but because it's there and I don't care enough about the vegan label to not.

It doesn't prevent any of those three. Omega 6 : Omega 3 imbalance common on the diet is a factor in heart disease. Cancer rate are unrelated to the diet in particular unless you are specifically avoiding smoking, drinking, etc. Type 2 Diabetes is glucose intolerance; it comes from eating too much sugar. Produce is terrible for the environment. >Muh methane
Lol okay but with produce what about the runoff, the soil degradation, the miles of plastic that gets laid down, literal tons of stakes, glorified slave labor? I'm a conservationist, a purist, and all I want to see is the beauty of the woodlands growing- I have no agenda. If you've ever lived around agriculture you know that produce is THE most destructive thing for the land (by a long shot), followed by row cropping, followed by pasture land, then planted pines last.

Put it this way- the healthiest most beautiful land is old growth woodlands and prairie or savannah as the case may be geographically. If I took a 500 acre tomato field and said "let's turn this back into old growth hardwoods" it would probably be impossible. Literally impossible after the soil change and runoff etc. Now if you took a cow pasture and tried to turn it back into old growth, it would take alot of forestry work and money but it would be 100% possible in like 200 years minimum.

If someone wants to take offense at meat on ethical grounds, that is at least tenable.. but to claim that on environmental grounds (while suggesting produce is ok), takes an insane level of delusion.

      Anonymous

Industrial chicken and pork production is a moral failure. However the industrial destruction of the land and nature's beauty so that you can have cheap tomatoes is also a moral failure of the highest order.

This coupled with the fact that vegans telegraph obvious ulterior motives for their selective and deluded ethics makes people resist admitting the moral failures of modern commercial pork and poultry as reactionary act.

Anyways we have alot of problems on this planet and there is only one ultimate answer to these environmental problems and if any one grand stands telling you otherwise they are full of shit.

Ah yes, the imaginary tomatoes destroying my beautiful forests.

Look you clown, I live amongst it and see it with my own eyes. You read these pie sky pamphlets and charts churned out by some circumlocution office (with God knows what motives), and you miss whats right there in front of your face because it's probably all foreign to you... You've probably never worked on a farm, lived on one, or been around agriculture so you don't see what your beloved tomatoes do to the land.

Again if you gave me a 500 acre cow pasture and 200 hundred years, I could get it more or less on track to being hardwoods. If you gave me a 500 acre tomato field, I'm telling you now that it is permanently fricked. Ruined. No amount of time could undo it almost. The runoff, soil loss, and chemicals alone make it without a doubt the most disgusting thing you can do on a piece of dirt short of just salting it or strip mining.

I have never seen natural rape such as what a produce operation does to the land. Maybe reading all that picture book shit is a relief to you conscience but once you see it in real life up close, you'd know the great moral failure of industrial produce farming.

Lol look you moron a hardwood old growth forest basically takes centuries to develop. The soil composition, competiton for light, etc. is sort of an incomprehensible form of evolution that happens in waves that eventually produces a sort of equilibrium. Its no different than how a bird species on a remote island evolves into a unique subspecies. Take a live oak bottom land- those trees could take 100 years just to get to a mature size and then successive generations dropping leaves branches etc. makes a unique soil composition and habitat for various undergrowth which trickles down to wildlife profile etc. Everything is a feedback loop.

The time frames and balance involved in building a natural old growth forest are entirely daunting. It could be done on a place with intact soil but it would take someone who knew what they were doing and a lot of time and money. If you just cleared land and let it go it would take way longer than 200 years

That kind of trash is literally one of the easiest ways to lie- mostly because great swathes of our population are afflicted with a high degree of moronation and actually believe a graph carries ANY level of perceived authority.

The research I've done? I've lived on woodlands and around agriculture my entire life- I've seen very personally what these various practices do to the land and if you did as well, you'd know that you'd have to be full as a tick on 40 rod liquor to actually think pasture land is worse for nature than a produce operation.

Beans, peas, lentils, corn, wheat, rye, tofu, oats, potatoes, nuts will all put you over 1.2g/kg easy and for a fraction of the price of meat. Most vegetables are mostly protein as well and will add up throughout the day.

Basically any food group apart from fruit and oils will easily meet your requirements. Bioavailability is another meme it only measures the digestive energy needed to assimilate the proteins and it's only about 10% less than animal protein on average.

All of said points are backed by numerous studies. Plenty of studies showing there's no difference in LBM gain with vegans vs omnis, vegans gain less fat actually. All you have to do is get enough protein it's not rocket science and there is no magical chemical in meat that makes you grow.

Stop being disingenuous. Speak like an adult.

It takes a polevault over mount everest to equate that to being used for "pounding animal brains". It could've been used for literally anything.

Paul Saladino is what happens when gaslighting takes a human form..

            Fiber. Bad for you.
            Omega3's. Bad for you.
            Vegetables. Bad for you.

But today I ate tube of honey and literally raw baboon brains. Good for you. Cholesterol of 538mg/dl is also good for you and there is nothing wrong of having two months long diarrheas. Just trust me and all the cherry picked meat industry sponsored short term studies that prove it! This is what the broccoli industry doesnt want you to know: MY HEART&SOIL ORGAN SUPPLEMENTS ARE 50% OFF ONLY TODAY!

Elimination diet, fasting and quitting junk food is what works for those people, not eating over priced animal testicles or whatever Saladino and his business partner Liver King recommends these days.

Are you just saying they are meat industry sponsored or is there proof? And can you show me where he says Omega-3's are bad besides when you have too much? I know that he quit strictly carnivore and went animal products + fruit and honey. I'm not arguing I'm just genuinely curious because if what you say is true then sure he might not be very credible.

I lost my interest in Saladino years ago, but you can click the links to the studies he references and check for biases.

In reality there aren't any long term studies of following carnivore diet for a long time. No one ever had the idea to remove all fiber and plant foods from their diet, just because they dont align with your marketing angle and exploitative business plan. When something fits his narrative suddenly honey is good for you and dont even harm your teeth, when its not you can market as carnivore diet, suddenly even fiber becomes unnecessary according this one short term bullshit study and 30 minutes of extempore meaningless jargon.

You're wrong. I used to be a full-blown ketoschizo knee-deep in lies, conspiracy theories and bullshit beliefs their gurus spread. Then I learned one of their core claims is untrue and the rest of their bullshit mountain came crumbling down rapidly thereafter. Didn't help their case one bit that I began suffering from severe fatigue and heart palpitations. Now I'm back to eating like a normal fitizen.

Vegans are a different case. Their diehards do it for the animals on moral grounds, it's more of a religon, so chances are they denouncing it for any reason are slim. Ketards have some spark of hope within.

"Carbs cause diabetes and keto cures it", then I stumbled upon diabetes actually being caused by FAT accumulating inside and outside cells. "insulin spiking" has nothing do with it, it's normal response! google intramyocellular lipids. then I noticed keto scene has rampant reports of them getting high blood sugars in pre/diabetic ranges and wasn't hard to put 1+1=2

              Anonymous

Diabetes has only been a common thing since cash crops, and you know this. You're being intellectually dishonest trying to pin the blame for diabetes on ancient foods (animal fats). But then again if you were honest you wouldn't be shilling for a completely unnatural corporate diet (veganism)

Fair enough, you're correct in that veganism is much more religious than the other variants of diet schizos (which is why you tend to see a lot more vitriol against them, they're simply more irritating than the other variants). >comparing keto cult to veganism
Stop trying to make us look like fanatics to justify your bad decisions. There's a far cry between following moral and health principles backed by rigorous scientific research vs an anti-science cult that bases it's entire existence on trying to annoy vegans, shill for the meat industry, and sell supplements for $$$$.

Vegans do it out of the ideal of minimizing suffering, a noble goal, or out of optimizing health, also a noble goal. There are no noble goals associated with the opposite, except maybe LARPing as an apex predator while in reality belong to the primates class which is frugivorous (carb-based) in nature.

    I make it simple:

Things that make me happier and more clear-headed:
    >quality animal protein
    >quality animal-based fat
    >high fiber fruits and vegetables

    Things that make me anxious/depressed:
    >Refined sugar and carbs - everything from soda to white rice
    >PUFA fried foods

I have a very sensitive reactions to food. Within two hours of eating certain foods, I become extremely irritable, my stomach feels inflamed, and I start to get really pissed off at old wounds and old arguments.

Over a lot of experimentation, I finally narrowed down the cause of my food-based mood problems to two primary culprits:

    >Culprit 1: PUFA fried foods.
Basically any food fried in things like canola oil. Frying in ghee, butter or tallow does not result in the same effect (I feel no anxiety or depressive symptoms the next day).
This culprit causes an effect the next day on my mood and energy levels.
I can reproduce this effect at any time by simply eating chinese food. The next day, my anxiety and depression will skyrocket. The delayed effect of increased anxiety and depression caused problems for me in figuring out what the issue was.
    >Culprit 2: Refined sugar and refined carbs.
This has a more immediate effect, as within two hours after eating refined sugar and carbs, especially if I eat little else, I become extremely irritable.
The closest medical explanation for I can find that seems related to this is blood sugar levels dropping. But I could easily be pre-diabetic.

As long as I avoid these two things - PUFA fried food and refined sugar and a lot of carbs - I do fine. That is not to say everybody will do fine. I also break down every once in a while and go back to poor eating ("surely this time, things will be different"). But they always end up giving me the equivalent of a mood or personality disorder (or greatly exacerbating an underlying existing one).

This is true. If they would just keep their cult to themselves and die off the world would be a better place without those urban morons. But they recruit people into their cult, especially women, they lobby governments. They won't leave you alone. At some point people have to accept that vegans are terrorists in a satanic cult and their existence should not be tolerated. Their food processing centres need to be destroyed, their shops vandalised, their activists attacked.

Additionally, people who have NOT cured type 2 diabetes:

    >Dr. Eric Berg the Chiropractor and Scientologist
    >Jimmy Moore, literally obese and diabetic child rapist
    >Dr. ~~*Robert Atkins*~~, obese and died of heart disease
    >Dr. Jason Fung (Jimmy Moore's co-author)
    >Dr. Stan Ekberg the Chiropractor
    >Frank Tufano (supplement pusher, also blames "carnivore" diet for destroying his liver)
    >Sv3rige, mass stabber child rapist (look it up)
    >Dr. Ken Berry (also rakes in millions off of supplement/meat sales)

Literally not even a single person listed in what can be colloquially known as the anti-vegan movement omits a history of shady behavior. I bring this up because the "meat-based" dieters ITT follow these gurus who are clearly conning them for $$$$

If we quit memeing for a second and talk like humans, you guys think following supplement pushers, obese weight loss gurus, chiropractors posing as MDs, and child rapists are trustworthy people?

Remission is not cure and you have to stay on the diet (i.e. keep the bandaid on) to keep blood sugar down.

Also from the article: "In contrast, 35% and 20% of patients adopting the low-carbohydrate diet between 1-5 years and more than 15 years after their diabetes diagnosis, respectively, achieved remission."

The "factors" include reversing diabetes completely. Pic rel. diet cured Type 2 diabetes and kidney disease, both said to be incurable.

They can't say "cure" because that'll get you suicided by the pharmaceutical cabal but it's clear as day what happens. It's also why vegans have the lowest rate of diabetes of all diet groups, even despite many eating vegan junk food and tons of fat.

                >(T2DM) diabetes is genetic
Haha wtf are you talking about you dumb moron? T2DM is insulin dysfunction caused by bad diet + a lack of physical activity. We're not talking about Type 1 diabetes and pancreatic autoimmune destruction. You even said it yourself:
                >Almost all diabetics are fatsos
Yes, and the ones that aren't are either Type 1 diabetics or just skinny with a shitty diet.

                >None of those say anything about CURING diabetes, only improve various factors.
This is strictly semantics as I discuss in my post [...]. You can most certainly "cure" diabetes AKA fix your diet and start exercising and never need treatment for it again, unless you relapse to a shitty diet. The reason the word "cure" isn't used is because it makes people think they will become immune to diabetes, like it's some sort of disease you catch from other people.

It's very simple. Mixed macro diets cause diabetes. If you are overweight/diabetic, simply restrict either fat or carbs to 0 grams, and your diabetes will reverse. And before you bring up ketogenic insulin resistance, that is a temporary mechanism that will go away after a few days of eating carbs.

When you stop eating like shit, your blood sugar and insulin signaling become normal. The reason they say it's "not a cure" is because, as soon as you start eating like shit again (many such cases), you will develop T2DM again. People think when you're "cured of a disease" you won't get it again. That's why "remission" is used instead of "cured" for T2DM.

. You can most certainly "cure" diabetes AKA fix your diet and start exercising and never need treatment for it again, unless you relapse to a shitty diet. I’m the anon in question. The thing is that I’ve been researching nutrition extensively to help ease my own schizophrenic delusions and find peace of mind. I tried being “vegan” not eating any animal products just to see how I would feel. I believe that you can live and thrive like that, but I also believe that you can do the same with any diet based on whole foods. I just don’t like red meat anymore, I prefer fish and aged cheese. So I’m “pescatarian”, but in reality I just want to eat as healthy as possible to fuel a long, prosperous life for myself. The divide and conquer discord is also a part of zion’s plan, when really everyone should do their best to become independent of the FDA, buy local and support small businesses.

Yea, but lots of people supplement lots of things. Roids, for instance. I don’t know what’s best, I’ll spend the rest of my life researching and trying to find what works for me. I felt like shit force feeding myself, and my research has shown that I shouldn’t worry about not getting enough protein or nutrients. I don’t care if IST thinks im skinny. Food is like God to some people, it’s hard to find truth in this field.

Vegan diets aren't just "low on nutrients," they are absolutely void of certain nutrients you need (AKA you will die without them). This is why veganism has never been practiced in any culture throughout any point in history until the invention of artificial supplements and globalism.
