Nah I've known people that died from opiates and they are addicted because it causes chemical changes in your brain, not some vaguery from a tv writer.

There is psychological addiction and there is physical addiction. Psychological addiction can be things like porn or even chocolate. Physical addiction is when your brain is rewired to believe that you need it like water, air, or food.

Honestly I think for porn it is about instant gratification and a desire for intimacy. It's why those guys in Japan will pay hostesses to just hang out and have drinks with them.

The purpose of arousal and pleasure from sex is to encourage you to reproduce. Being horny is literally your brain trying to tell you to make a baby.

Porn exploits this basic biological mechanism so that you see a ton of ready and willing mates, which just overstimulates and arouses you, drawing your attention towards the advertisement and opening your wallet.

Porn is actually about exploiting men more than it is about women.

I have no clue what you are talking about or what SLAA is

Human trafficking is wrong, and I am not addicted to porn or jerking off

You have some weird psychosexual complex, of course human trafficking is wrong and porn is addictive, both are true, and nothing I said was false

The frick are you talking about? Addiction is the result of neural circuits which are created in the brain. These circuits basically never go away, they just go dormant and can be reactivated even years later. This is why e.g. alcoholics are told to never drink again because even one drink 20 years later will result in reactivation of that circuit.
Trauma (in the psychological sense) can cause the destruction of circuits. This has been done with alcoholics by giving them beer with a laxative in it.

Can we agree that addiction OBVIOUSLY has a physical cause due to brain chemistry, but that discussing the psychological part of it can be more useful to the average male?

We don't have to debate, the biochemistry of addiction is a fundamental fact of neuroscience and psychopharmacology. Some chemical compounds rewire the circuits in your brain, and some addiction is purely psychological.

We have proven this with research and experimentation. The only difference is that you have not read and become educated on these subjects, so it seems like a vague mystery that is up for debate.

In the brain, they're the exact same thing. The strength of these circuits is influenced by time and the release of chemicals such as dopamine. This is why e.g. heroin results in such a strong addiction, but the chemicals serve to reinforce the creation of the circuit, not to create it.

Honestly this is better because porn is proven to be harmful like liquor or cigarettes, but people still buy and sell liquor and cigarettes.

I think Louisiana has the right idea by restricting to adults that can provide government ID, just like liquor and cigarettes.

Masturbation is something that humans and animals do naturally, but you can do too much of it or get addicted to porn.

Ideally, you just have sex with a woman and make a baby in the process, and the best context for this is marriage. Realistically, if I don't bust a nut every 1-2 days I get rock hard and can't focus on anything.

The secret to overcoming porn addiction is to develop an opiate addiction
Oxy is expensive and street dope is poison so your best bet is to find a reputable source on DNM (I haven’t found one since narco got busted so If anyone has one feel free to share)

Hmmm, yeah. Lemme prescribe you 200mg of Oxycontin, that should take care of it

They don’t do that anymore though
That’s why so many people are turning to fentanyl
It is near impossible to get put on opioid pain medications unless you were previously prescribed them years ago or if you have something like MS or cancer
The solution to the “opioid epidemic” is legalize and regulate opioids so people know what they’re consuming
It’s like the 1920s all over again but they’re forcing this “heroin bad” thing so hard that most people can’t get past the barrier in their brain of common sense

Porn is both the cause of the pain and the temporary cure for it.
Stop watching porn and face the pain head on for a bit and eventually you'll be happy, not lonely, to be alone

Yeah you are better off quitting porn honestly. Even porn that is made ethically is still porn, it's not made to be good for you, it's made to exploit you and make money off of you.

With every vice, there are many consumers and a smaller number of suppliers who exploit the consumers. Alcohol, tobacco, porn, junk food, etc. Then there is the criminal underworld which does the same thing but with coke and heroin and shit. So much of the consumer economy is based on exploiting human weakness.

Well you just answered your own question. If you feel hurt by these feelings try not letting them get to you.

    >the pain of loneliness

This one's pretty tough, but remember you can always play some online games or even play some sports and meet new people. Just don't try too hard for starters

    >the pain of failure

Big... fricking... deal... Even the chadest of chads experienced failure hundreds of times. Nobody is born perfect - get over it.

    >the pain of humiliation

Humiliation? You mean your starved ego? Dump & forget your ego. Your pride isn't what's puttin food on the table and sure as hell you shouldn't care what others gink of you.

    >the pain of inexperience

Similar to the "failure" one. If you wanna get good at something you have to invest thousands of hours into it and be patient. Also enjoy the time doing it.

Try meditating on a daily basis, walk outside when you have some free time, repeat to yourself what I just previously wrote and with time you won't see the point in cooming so often.

Boy even if you where to have sex you would still stroke it every now and then, it's normal to do it, it ain't a problem unless you have the urge to jerk off multiple times trough the day.
Don't get me wrong everyone have hormonal spikes and decreases, every now and then you might find yourself jerking off 3 times a day or not touching your dick at all? Frick it that's fine, try to stick to 1 a day if you feel like you have a problem.
Sex is great etc etc but you would still stroke it so do not panic for something that is absolutely normal
