Weak Willed People

How do weak willed people justify eating Doritos and the sort (there are 100's of things people say are cheaper when it takes 5 seconds to do the math and see it is not) when it is more expensive per kg than steak ?

    >spending your time worrying about people who arent gonna make it

Thats the kind of mindset of someone who isnt going to make it. Some people, most really, are going to live really bad lives. If you can help someone, great, but you need to be the best that you can be and not spend time worrying about why that person is 350 pounds when all they have to do is literally just stop eating and it fixes their entire life

Yes my friend I do see that I need to stop worrying about other people so much as it does hold me back, good morning sir.

Most people’s lives are shit, so they probably think something like “Well, things are bad and aren’t getting any better. I may as well eat this bag of Doritos and at least get a little enjoyment.” They aren’t able to conceptualize how making thousands of small changes will eventually lead to a better life because they feel so beat down in the present. A lot of people are stuck in boring jobs, boring lives, etc. and food is one of their few comforts.

Of course, what you and I know is that if people took even a fraction of the time they spent doing other things (browsing internet, watching TV) but instead exercising, they’d probably be in pretty decent shape. But for whatever reason they don’t do this.

      >get a little enjoyment
you get all the enjoyment you need from real food once you break the addiction of junk food. it just overrides your senses, and it is all just fleeting and "never quite enough" much like a drug.

It is literally impossible for people like that to understand that these foods taste gross to me and make me feel bad compared to eating steak, eggs, honey, fruit, etc. It requires 0 discipline or sacrifice for me to eat what I eat since I find my foods incredibly delicious and I find their shitty corn-syrup seed-oil goyslop disgusting (literally 0 pleasure gained from eating goyslop). Same with alcohol. It's just gross and makes me feel bad.

      Same here. It's funny really

For the longest time Ive always had sugar cravings. Maybe forever. I loved to eat bread and such

But I've been training hard for my BJJ classes (3-4 times a week) and try to work out on my off days. I've been super strict with my 1500 deficit diet drinking raw milk, protein shakes, Greek yogurt, and chicken/steak with maybe a side of potato for dinner

For about a month now my cravings to get Mexican food or something (nothing crazy but definitely not optimal nutrition) are at a totally manageable level where maybe I want it but it's easy to resist.. but my cravings for empty calories are basically entirely gone. If I ever crave some sugar maybe I'll eat like 15 raisins once every couple of days.

Feels weird to not crave junk constantly.

Spinach is a completely useless food. Go ahead and try to prove me wrong by posting its "great micros" and I'll explain vitamin by vitamin. Here's a preview:
              >vitamin A
              not pre-formed vitamin A (retinol) so it's useless—conversion in humans is 3%.

Or you can just do an experiment on yourself if you actually value knowledge and self-experimentation. Eat your exact same diet for 1 week, just without spinach. See if you feel different or crave spinach (lmao). I guarantee you will feel 0 difference.

Actually it ranges from 4-10% depending on the individual. And this is GOOD because too much vitamin A is toxic and the body cannot chelate and expel excess vitamin A. Depletion-repletion studies have shown that beta carotene is sufficient to reverse vitamin A deficiency.

You know what the worst part is? You don't even have to stop eating junk food. You just have to eat less of it, exercise regularly and eat healthy food more. Going from fat to thin and having occasional cheat days really made me realise how fricking hard I had to not try to get fat in the first place. I could spend an entire day eating garbage, only gain a few kg and burn it off and then some from a week of gymming. I wouldn't even need to gym THAT hard or for THAT long.

It's crazy to see just how much of a difference you can make if you actually put in some effort.

the biggest blackpill is discovering that most normies who think they're "in-shape" have zero understanding of nutrition and exercise. They usually just have good genetics, eat less than they think and have athletic hobbies. They still eat like shit and don't give a frick beyond that. You really just have to be stuffing your face and spending most days doing absolutely nothing to get obese.

I don't really like meat, except when its in a burger or on a pizza or something.
Which is ironic because I was on the carnivore diet for the past year eating mainly beef.
I just don't like the taste of meat that much by itself, also handling and preparing raw meat is fricking disgusting and I dislike doing it.
I could quite easily become a vegan because of this and also I have a sweet tooth. But excessive amounts of plant matter frick with my digestion (bloating, gas and shitting too much).
Anyway I switch over to the basic pure Ray Peat diet as I had enough of dealing with meat.
Benefits of the carnivore diet was good even mood and energy and good digestive system function.

    >The Case for Doritos:
    15$ for 1kg doritos = 5300 calories.
60% of the calories are from seed oils.
Tons of nasty preservatives plus the omega 6 killing your liver and causing obesity, and overall poor nutrition content, and low protein.

    >The Case for Beef:
    20$/kg = 2700 calories.
Half as many calories as doritos for a slightly higher price, but it contains top quality nutrition and top quality protein, and 60% of the calories in doritos are from sneeds anyways.

If you wanting to level the price and calorie playing field, you could cook steak with 60% seed oil calories, and it would still have way better nutrition and taste than doritos.
