smoking anything will cause these issues. The issue is inhalation of smoke, not THC. You can circumvent these by vaping (less lung and epithelial damage) or by edibles.

      >"(With) vaping you're still heating up, not just the THC itself, but all these other chemicals that are in the vaping fluids — additives, flavorings, etc. So when those get heated up, you have these byproducts that are released, which can also be damaging to the lungs and the heart," Gounder says. "In the case of edibles, you have THC. THC alone, whether you smoke it, you vape it, you eat it, THC alone also has effects on the cardiovascular system, which can lead to an increased risk of heart attack and stroke."

Marijuana can make the heart beat faster and can make blood pressure higher immediately after use.1,2 It could also lead to increased risk of stroke, heart disease, and other vascular diseases.3-7 Most of the scientific studies linking marijuana to heart attacks and strokes are based on reports from people who smoked marijuana (as opposed to other methods of using it). Smoked marijuana delivers tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other cannabinoids to the body. Marijuana smoke also delivers many of the same substances researchers have found in tobacco smoke—these substances are harmful to the lungs and cardiovascular system.8,9

It is hard to separate the effects of marijuana chemicals on the cardiovascular system from those caused by the irritants and other chemicals that are present in the smoke. More research is needed to understand the full impact of marijuana use on the cardiovascular system to determine if marijuana use leads to higher risk of death.

tl;dr the guy you quoted is talking out of his ass. There is no clear link between THC and CV related issues. I also choose my words wisely in regards to vaping, less lung and epithelial damage does not mean none.

Yeah let me vape, I love mainlining vegetable oil straight into my lungs

        >dry herb vape, then use all of the vaped bud to make edibles or tinctures, minimizing the need for vapor in lungs anyways

i bet you claim you have a beer or 2 but are a raging alcoholic

creatine and protein is far more damaging to your kidneys than THC. Before you respond with what I know you're going to respond with, know that I chose my words carefully and I am fully expecting you to respond in the way that you will, which will prove to me your limited knowledge, so please, by all means, tell me that creatine and protein are safe for healthy kidneys, and I will show you how dumb you are.

Short-term can raise BP, though higher quantities of THC become a vasodilator via CB1 receptors.

This would be fairly easy to confirm by just comparing THC use verses weed smoking and adjusting for lifestyle factors dopeheads are prone to (shitty diets and lethargy).

Just get four test groups: daily tobacco smokers, daily weed smokers, daily THC oil users, and a completely clean control group.

If the THC oil people are still prone to heart issues, its weed. If not, its either weed smoking and/or degenerate lifestyle choices dopeheads are notorious for.

all things wrong with weed is fault of prohibition. original weed had excellent thc/cbd ratio. they inly created brainbashers due to illegality making it expensive. synthetic cannabinoids are even worse and are fattening.

That's why the CIA doesn't want you smoking pot, because they can't seed synthetic dreams to make you feel like crap when you wake up

Last summer they hit me with some whoppers. I woke up feeling like literal death, they were so disruptive and negative
I think today they hit me with one too, on my nap. I woke up sad, thinking about all the opportunities I wasted to be something in this life. I was on the path to one day maybe becoming a civilised human being. They also give you synthetic dreams to test how you react in the presented situations. I question the validity of these response, however. It's a dreams, after all, an imberently fictitious state. It's kind of like when people say the truth comes out when you're drunk. Well, no, it actually doesn't. When you're drunk your brain is scrambled, alcohol is not an intoxicant that brings a specific order but chaos. Anything that is thrown at you in a drunk state, any idea, you will say all sorts of random things.

cannabis and opiates were first to be banned. amphetamines and psychedelics were banned much later. mkultra or some other shit. they hijacked hippie counterculture. made psychedelics seem like forbidden fruit, fountain of knowledge. look at prexolumbian mesoamerican bloody cults. this is what psychs cause. now they shill microdosing or whatever. they push amphetamines in more ways than one. adhd and yuppie culture... when artists were using mostly cannabis and opioids art was the best. think 70s and later decline, at first rather subtle but you will notice it if you look closer... divided, highjacked and misled. there is no real opposition to tptb now. certainly not Alex Jones tier schizochuds nor sjw types. its over.

I think cannabis can be beneficial. It's natural and has positive effects on mood and social bonding(in moderation)... and I feel like its "purpose"(if you believe in that) is to be consumed by humans.
However weed can definitely become a coping mechanism due to it's pleasant effect. In my own experience, frequent weed smokers have lifestyles that are not optimal for health so I think that at least contributes somewhat to the correlation between weed smoking and cv issues.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

For the record weed has no effect on me. I've tried blunts and a bong and I don't notice an effect on me while people around me get stoned.
