Weighted chin ups

>add weighted chin ups to the beggining of my pull day
>they're so draining I have to lower the weight in every other lift
>they at least give me a massive bicep and forearm pump

How do you get good at weighted chin ups, IST? I feel like they're the key to get huge arms

You get huge arms by training them with lots of volume. No, doing weighted chins will not get you huge arms, but theyre pretty good if you havent done any isolations before in your life.

I got 16 inch muscular arms within half a year of adding weighted chin ups
But they have stayed the same for years now lol, just more defined
I have never seen a biceps curl in my life

form check? 7 reps, 12kg weighted pullups for second set. first set was 9 reps.

He’s right, doing them wide literally makes your back wider. Ever heard of the Teres major and minor? Yeah. Mine exploded when I started doing the widest possible grip. I can now do 33 wide grip pull-ups with zero CrossFit flailing and I promise you you’re shirts have to go a a size up just because of the width.

        >at the end of the pull you pull to much at the top which will probably lead to tendonitis n your elbows
(try to bring chest to bar rather than chin over bar)
        >you let yourself fall too much tr to controlle excentric more
        >engage your legs bro you are hanging their spread legged swinging around
        >start of the pull you are in a dead hang when your traps should be engaged which will frick up your shoulders

I do pull ups and they are my last heavy exercise:
    >Squats
    >Barbell rows
    >Deadlift
    >Pull ups
I keep than last for spinal decompression and stretching. One day, I was too damn fricked and tired to do it all, so I did pull ups after my squats and I was able to do like 4 more reps with the same weight, but yeah I don't feel like it affects my gains TOO much

Currently at 26 BMI and struggling to crank out 3 pull ups with good form. Chin ups are okay -- about 6-8. Any advice for hitting higher numbers while I try to unfatten myself?
