False. It never said he was small or even just some regular dude. He killed a bear and a lion. He was a soldier. He wasn't necessarily jacked, but based on context, he was strong and because they called him handsome, given the context of what that meant at the time, likely taller than average. The reason people think he was small is because Goliath was huge. They also confuse meekness for weakness.

    That's not the weird part.

The weird part is how we have generations of young men who are mentally ill and don't even understand what a normal, or even athletic human body looks like any longer.

They are chasing "ideals" which have only been achievable since the introduction of drugs. They now see the past 10,000 years of men as "skinny" rather than normal.

It's a mas psychosis of body dysmorphia.

And even worse, people are not here for health, they are here because they believe they must pump their body full of drugs, to make it unnaturally large, just to get the attention of an average female.

    No that's fricking weird!

No women ever talked about the chest size of Casanova, the biceps of Mr. Darcy, or Dorian Greys bench press.

      The body adapts

      Not that deep.
There's not much physical needs nowadays, so your aim can be pointed at anything you want
Your body could be healthier like this or that, but who the frick cares.

        >The body adapts

        To drugs, yeah.

The human body has remained constant for thousands of years.

The average Roman soldier was likely 5'6" 130lbs.

The average viking not much different.

You can seen frontier men, working on the railways, real hard intensive heavy labor, who are likely 150lbs.

So in regards to all that, OPS pic, the statue is athletic, strong, and big.

We have just lost what it means to be normal today, seeing 600lbs people, to Hollywood steroid pumped freaks. Apart from your big action tough guys in the 80s like Arnie and Stallone, almost all the lead (and desirable) male actors are slim. The huge MUH 19 INCH BICEPS is a very modern thing.

Even in wrestling in the 80s and now, they are out of the ordinary, freaks, circus interest.

None of it is normal, natural, or healthy. Like when people see guys at the beach in the 70s.. OMG THEY SO SKINNY! No. They are NORMAL. Being a 250lbs bloated testicle is not normal.

            >A Roman man was on average 170 cm (5`6.93 ft) tall and weighed around 143,3 lb

There are varying sources. They do things like measure weapons they find, to workout sizes.

Like the Romans were not all turbo manlets, and the vikings were not all giant monsters. Their skeletons show us this.

They were relatively the same, heights and weights haven't changed much through history, up until the modern era of seed oil, mass carbs, and steroids.

So most people time travelling would see each other as similar, up until today, in which a bloated roid monkey walks out and they would see it as some total freak.

Like pic rel would be the true spartan bodyshape. Just lean but not overly big.

This painting of Mars by Diego Velazquez I've always liked. It depicts a peak physique for war. The gind of guy who's not too bloated but every fiber is hard as a rock, the kind of resilient feel no pain motherfricker that could be hit with a baseball bat and not be hurt. Reminds me of modern special forces. Besides Delta / SEAL / CiaBlack person breachers, many have this type of body. Very strong but with a focus on actual strength and endurance, not bulk.

You can also see this kind of body, face and demeanor in small towns and rural areas. Those though grandpas and babushkas that carry logs on their backs or knock downt horses and cattle with the strength of their body.

Uhh you know some ate meat only, or real high quality, unlike the mass farmed shit pumped slop we eat today?

Humans have only fallen in height when poverty and lack of food occurred. At all other times, they were pretty much the same height as us. Like a link I just posted, the Romans quickly raised a legion of guys 5'11" and above.

You'll see hit dip to 5ft in bad conditions. Outside of that most (white western) people would be 5'8" and above. And memes aside, the average white western man is now about 5'9".

The average european male from real countries is like six foot, and thats when you include boomers and immigrants from pygmalia. Young men are six foot minimum. And aside from diet, everyone before the 1900s were ravaged by childhood infections, which seriously can stunt your growth. The guys posted in the OP were size freaks then, not some average.

                >Young men are six foot minimum

It's hard to reply when this is simply not true. That's even above the Dutch average.

                > everyone before the 1900s were ravaged by childhood infections, which seriously can stunt your growth

They were not. This mainly happened in crowded conditions. Like say some Victorian slum.

This did not happen in some Barbarian village.

Hence heights have remained the same for thousands of years, only dipping due to poor conditions, food, and health. It has gone up and down, but still when all is good, it remains not much different as to today.

Not true. There are accounts of Romans being almost too scared to fight because of how MASSIVE the Gauls were, as well as the Germans. The peoples of northern europe have always been around 5'11" on average because of their genetic predisposition to tall stature and access to a diet of fresh game, dairy, and fruit.

You understand that nobody likes overly muscular bodies except gays and roidtrannies

      CecilDrakeInSeattle

Literally. I do not know why they don't get. It's mainly a massive gay thing.

Yet some guys chase it thinking they will get women. Women prefer the statue look. So does every normal person. Nobody is looking at that statue and thinking do you even lift, only mentally ill gays are.

        Anonymous

If you reach the statue status then you are done, the next step is not roiding and bullshit it's the exact opposite - become a longevitygay. Because your body at that point, or maybe a LITTLE bigger (I mean, he could be a LITTLE bigger, just putting it out there, especially the legs) - a LITTLE bigger than that, then it's all about the keeping it. Keeping it like that for as long as possible.

You also can't be too obsessive about keeping it, there's a limit to how far you can take that also without being mentally ill. So you just maintain your habits and work on other aspects of your life. But just the irony of roidtrannies that they have it, and they blow it all away and are nothing in a short few years.

          CecilDrakeInSeattle

Yeah I admit, I would go slightly larger, and then keep it. Which is much easier to keep and maintain, than constant roid cycles. Would still make you look better than the vast majority of people, you'd be healthy, don't have to process 6k calories a day, the cost of that, the impact of those foods going through you, be lighter, so can run, use functional strength, climbing, pulling yourself up, less pressure on the heart to pump around the body.

Versus 250lbs roider, who has the only benefit of "I look as though I lift heavy things to the average stranger"

          LMAO.

Most of them clearly have self esteem issues, or were bullied as a kid. To those that are perma virgins and think the more muscle mass they have the more pussy. Of course that never happens and they have to keep getting bigger. Just another 5lbs bro or another inch on my arms and I'll be swimming in pussy..

All that will happen is guys using more and more drugs to look bigger than the rest, to soon the average 20 year old is 400lbs of drugs, and they all die at age 25.

It's like how women use more and more filters and makeup to compete with each other until it gets ridiculous.

Just turn the clock back ffs. Normal natty athletic body and strength. Something you actually EARNED.

Nope. You are watching Hollywood movies as David as some skinny little child.

      >The bible doesn't tell us how tall David was, but we can estimate that not only he was powerful, fighting bears and lions with his own hands but was tall.

      >We also know that David could fit into Saul's armor (1 Samuel 17:38) and Saul was considered taller than all the other people. (1 Samuel 9:2

      >Because David was able to utilize Goliath's sword, (1 Samuel 17:51) David wouldn't have been short.

      >Goliath was anywhere between nearly 7–10 feet tall. (How tall was Goliath?) A sword with a pommel that fits in his armpit would be at minimum 6 feet long, depending on Goliath's proportions.

      >David, while obviously not giant height, would have had to be at minimum as tall as Goliath's sword to be able to wield it.

People were a lot smaller back then because:
    >Less time under tension - most strength work was for speed and explosivity, since strength training was almost exclusively used as a preparation for fighting
    >Less volume - multi set training was invented after WW2 by Thomas L. DeLorme. All the centuries before, everyone just did a single set of an exercise.
