In that case red pill literally fricks you over. You will be a 6 year old with no birth certificate (as your old one has incorrect information), no guardians. You will be an untraceable foster kid. NTA but crypto is easy iirc, winter of 2017 was a crash so sell a month before that. Take your earnings and pump crypto before 2020 starts. Cash out early 2022 before the war is announced. GG.

Why do you need the exact dates? Just buy the $20 GME and sell it at $300 lmao. Place orders and they'll execute automatically.
And why would you even need GME, you could buy thousands of bitcoins for a few bucks long beforehand.

          Anonymous

You can make far more money in options and futures than you can in BTC. People forget that BTC went from a cents to $20k over the course of TEN YEARS. During the super run year, it only went from around $1k to $20k. You would've gotten more in one year simply copying DFV during the GME incident. For like half a decade, BTC was worth absolutely shit.

You could have made way, way more in the course of that decade doing options with knowing the outcome, and you wouldn't even need to know exact dates.

Not the anon you replied to. I can appreciate that you took the time to write all that, but some lifes are irredeemably pathetic and plainly wasted, with not a fricking grain of hope or positivity you could scratch on.

Me for example: about 5 years ago I finished high school, and looking back, i can barely remember anything. That time period was almost a decade of enduring school, getting back to home to play vidya, sleeping and doing it all over again the next day. Nothing of note, no friends, no relationships, no achievements, just plain fricking nothing. The only thing I still had from back then was a classmate kept inviting my to play football (provably when they where missing one player), but when all shit closed due to pandemic, that stopped, and it seems that he just forgot about me now. My life is soo dull that for the last 4 years, the most remarkable thing is that mom buys me burgerking for my birth day. That thought fricking depresses me.
Going to the gym was nice, saw some decent results, but college was fricking me so hard that I quitted gym so I could focus and finish off once an for fricking all.

Red pill is the only option, $10 million wont errase the burden of having wasted 25 years of my life.

    Redpill, please.
I'm a zoomer, so it would be 2006.
    >money
I honestly don't know if I'd actually make it financially. I'd have to convince my father to buy bitcoin, tesla etc. and that would be extremely hard as a kid...
Maybe I could try to start things early? Like get a youtube early and do let's play before everyone else like pewdiepie? Get into games and other stuff that I know would explode earlier than others? Idk, I don't think I have it in me to be an internet personality or whatever...
I could create apps like uber, anki etc. before their creators too.
    >fitness
I'd get into basketball early and practice it a lot in order to be good at it. It's a cool game and group sports are the secret to making it as a male. You simply end up making a lot of good friends who aren't schizos and that is key to social success.
I'd also start lifting at 12 yo, maybe try swimming or some martial art too if I had the time.
    >study
I'd take it more seriously. I am already pretty well educated already and being able to mintain all this knowledge would be a great advantage, but I could make it so I'd be a brilliant student always and it would get me access to many opportunities.
    >love
I'd get my oneitis. She was interested in me and I was too much of an autist pussy to seize the opportunity.

Most of all, enjoying my family and experiences again. It would be a dream come true.
I think this would be way more valuable than 10M in all aspects.

I'd be back in 1989 and would have to do some convincing to get my dad to buy stock in IBM and XErox also Western Digital and Microsoft. Just get second mortgage on house and go all in on those stocks. Would see return on investment in 5 years in 1994. Since I know when I am going back to, I would memorize winning lotto numbers for that time and prove to my dad that I am time swapped by winning lotto.

Would use lotto winnings to buy up real estate in Dallas Fortworth and Austin areas in the 90s. In 10 years that value would increase 3x, keep holding until 2010s for 10x boost. Buy crypto at this point.

Buy more property in 2008 dip. Sell it all to new Texans by 2015. Sell crypto bought 5 years prior. Be billionaire at this point.

Retire at age 30 and meet wife, but this time be retired billionaire 30 year old dude. Have many children and ignore the downfall of society from where ever on earth I want to live (also harem of wives).

A couple thousand dollars of BTC at 2009 prices would become multi generational wealth, not even including other crypto like ETH and Chainlink in the 2010s. You would be an absolute moron to not pass up a second chance at youth (arguably the most important benefit) coupled with the guarantee of becoming one of the richest people without ever raising a finger.

I'd take the redpill since it's tempting to fix your past mistakes but I'm worried about not meeting my wife since we met randomly online.

I know where she lives, her school, all her contact info and such so I could theoretically still meet her but it would be hard to make it seem organic and not look like someone's stalking her. Plus what if I've changed so much by the time we're both adults and were supposed to meet that she no longer falls for me?

  31. 11 months ago

Taking the redpill would be like throwing my loved ones in the trash because my egoistical wellbeing. Sure, i regret some things i had done, and is true that i would like to change some other situations with the knowledge i have know, to improve them. But in the end of the day, it would be attrocious of me just to wish that those people who were good with me to dissapear. Every memory, every fail, every tear, every laugh that i shared with them would be lost, because in the end of the day, some bad situations leaded to improve and forge my relations with them. If i restart, by the law of chaos, i cant be sure if i will still be with them, and even in the best of the cases, they wouldnt be the same people i know now. I suppose i would like to only give advice to a younger version of myself, so he can create the people and the moment in a better way that i have done, without losing them.

      Mmmmmm. Let me see:

I'd invest and live off of dividends, possibly start making 800k-1M a year at 23 yo. It's not bad, but I'd still be fricked in my mind, depressed and lonely.
      >if I went for red
      I'd:
      >relive precious moments
      >enjoy all the opportunities I'd had with the most important people in my life, not frick my friendships and chances at love
      >be able to join hobbies and practice and make more friends
      >lift early with a lot of knowledge in it
      >use my knowledge and discipline to aceall my text and seize many opportunities that would still guarantee me a successful future

I will stick with red. I'd rather be an aesthetic 23 yo who experience teen love, has lots of friends, has developed social skills and is well educated than remain the sad piece of shit I am but with 10M.

Are you certain you’d achieve perfection given only one more chance.
What happens when you’re at this point again and offered the pill again to fix the butterfly effect of changes you caused?

        What about the third time?
Or the 4th? surely there’s no problem with another try after 3 attempts?
You’re granted eternal life as long as you keep choosing red.

Can you ever return to not having foresight after thousands of years of the same 2 decades?
If the insecurity sent you back you’ll never return.

This is a much better and more difficult version of the OP question, seeing as how in the OP question you could easily make way more than $10 million without that caveat, plus you are adding years to your life.

I still would take the red pill. I (like many others I imagine) occasionally fantasize about how it would be to go all the way back. The idea of getting to be a grade school kid in the 90s again, then getting to relive high school from 04-08 - even if everything happened exactly the same - honestly might be worth more than the money by itself. (Although having to relive everything after HS up until now, if that were also exactly the same, might negate that lol.)

But then add to that my current knowledge? That would be too good to pass up. I would never get fat as a child plus have the appreciation for my youth that only an adult could have and thus enjoy my childhood immensely. Throughout grade school and high school my confidence would be thru the roof; imagine how easy it would be to be the coolest kid in school (by far, even) with the knowledge you have now - and the perks that would come along with that.

That experience would be worth more than any amount of money to me.

I don't care about living large. Get a decent house for me and my ma, settle my grandparents in a decent apartment until they die (not long), invest in learning something that can make me modest but sure money on the long run.
Fix my body and hopefully the mind will follow.

This thread really shows the difference between sex havers and have nots. The blue pill is the correct answer here if you have lived a good life and have made peace with the hardships in your life. 10 million dollars is more than enough money to be wealthy and comfy for the rest of your natural life if you aren’t moronic. I would never give up my wife or my children. While there are things I could have done better I have done well within the time I’ve had on this earth and would not change a thing. 10 million dollars would just help me secure a better future for my family.

I often think about red, but then I think about the countless hours wasted doing things I could not control. Little things like 3 hours a week drama class, mind numbing tasks. the inability to drive, the inability to eat as I pleased. Time would pass a bit faster than real childhood due to how it works, but 6 is really fricking young. Even just deciding to go out for a long walk becomes tricky.

I gave it some thought and red seems like an easy pick, if I have to choose. I never spoke up or made any of my thoughts known to my family when I was young, and that ended up leading to my family falling apart. So if I can go back with the knowledge I have now, maybe things can turn out differently; maybe things could be better. Time travel's a weird concept and it has a lot of holes so it wouldn't work but, man, going back? What a thought.

For anyone really pondering this, I highly recommend the book Replay.

The correct choice is almost always the red pill, the only reason you don't go red is if you're already set in terms of $ and/or have irreplaceable connections in present-day that you can't guarantee you'd be able to recreate or are not willing to part with in exchange for what is otherwise the best life imaginable.

It really cannot be overstated how horrendous work is, knowing that you need a few hundred dollars to be the richest man alive guaranteed and that you can solve anyone's money troubles and own an island for yourself and all that shit that goes with it from a young age is worth infinitely more than any amount of money today. The toll that financial stress takes on almost all humans is an incalculable tragedy, worse than anything you can think of including the black death, holocaust, WW2 etc. You have no idea how to truly live until you no longer have any financial stress in your life at all.
    t. Someone who unexpectedly inherited a large sum of money and retired 22 years earlier than expected, the before-times are, in hindsight, an unspeakable horror.

Left because the money is meaningless. It's easy for me to say that as I may not be gigarich, but I quite successful. With $10M the only thing different would be I would get a better house and have a bit more in investments I guess? It wouldn't actually change my life that much, aside from the waifu getting to finally design a specific feature in our next house.

Conversely living life again would be fun. It could turn out worse but the point would be to have different experiences. I would also get to see those that I have lost over the years.

Doesn't matter really. If I take the blue pill, I can afford to buy some land for my parents and for myself. If I take the red pill, I can save up money with all the jobs I did, which would allow me to do the same.

I don't give a damn about the financial side but my grandpa's cukoo enough to listen to a 6 year old and become a billionaire with crypto, so that secures me a house and Ferrari around now.
