    Swimming in a natural lake
    >9/10 enjoyment (get the "runners high" without any sweat, see topless sunbathing chicks sometimes)
    >Cost: 0
    >Free healthy tan included

I love swimming so much bros. If i could swim everyday by the lake, I'd unironically wouldn't do anything else

Isn't there leeches and shit in lakes? I live in bongland so that isn't an option here

Never encountered any yet. Just don't swim in swamps, or swim in oceans

How do you get to the lake?
Some of us dont have lake houses

Also, i do the same thing. Its about a 20 minute bike ride to my nearby swimming hole.

Wish I could afford to learn/play to golf. Camping is fun solo or with others. Got into some basic leatherworking recently and it helps scratch that creative itch. Been reading about mycology lately, seems like my next thing.

I started rock climbing when Pewdiepie posted a video about it. It quickly became my favorite hobby.

it's fun for a few years until you plateau or get a hand injury and then decide to stop doing it

yep also tried it after seeing his video. The people are pretty positive and somewhat IST, but idk how people can actually go every day. I feel it'll get boring too quickly. I already completed most of the climbs at my local spot

I post in the climbing general on IST and was climbing pretty regularly for a few years but I stopped at the end of last year
idk it's expensive lol; I got to V6 and finished two V7s but going further than that was getting really fricking hard

Running. It REALLY sucks for the first 2/3 months but it becomes meditative after that and it's good for you.
Hiking is also solid if you have good trails and/or friends to go hiking with
Rec league sports aren't my thing but if you've got friends it might be fun

Fishing. You already kayak they can be combined. But fishing for two reasons. It can take some stamina depending on what you’re catching. And because it’s the PERFECT excuse to show off gains without blatantly flexing like a try hard. Catch a fish, get arms wet so they glisten, good fish and flex subtly take pic to post.
Catch a big enough fish and you can pose shirtless and do the same if you hold it correctly. Childhood friend, who’s like a Chad except he’s 5’6”, made it into a magazine cover getting fully nude and flexing while holding a fish in front of his junk. I think it was a grouper but I didn’t exactly stare at the image that hard.

Also to add, it’s just fricking fun. Go out scout new locations build some skills (knot tying, learning how weather seasons temperatures affects fish behaviors and what to throw for bait/lures, techniques retrieving lures, etc etc). Sometimes you try a new spot and it turns out to be a gold mine with huge fish and no one knows about it. Get to be out in nature. The activity itself is fun, with lures anyways, you’re fooling another creature into thinking it’s getting food you have to make it think a piece of wood/plastic is alive and appetizing, then fight it out if it’s element and into yours. It’s not jumping on a mammoths back with a spear but it’s primal (you’ll know what I mean when you start catching big fish). You have personal goals to set and beat like catching a rare hard to land fish or beating weight records, maybe finding a fish with a rare color morph like a golden bass or a melanistic gar etc.

Man there's so much shit to choose from, woodworking alone has several levels, from micro projects (wood burning) to building furniture. I'm partial to book binding because it's a family business but I'd really like to learn how to solder properly, my soldering is absolute shite.

I enjoy archery, there's a greenway behind my house with a forest beyond that so my wife and I go shoot bows there. We should guns at the range as well. We like to go to the beach which is about 20 mins away and swim also.

I'd add I enjoy cigars and good drinks but that's more consumption than an active hobby, we also watch rugby but thats also passive.

I really enjoy fencing, music composition, writing and art. Swimming and sauna too but that's more my preferred cardio and POC filters.
