What are some good -filling- foods to eat when you're on a cut?
Eating so much grilled chicken and whey mixes makes me feel like I'm going crazy, I feel like this can't be good for me.

I mean the nature of the cut is gonna be a little rough. I mean for sure you don’t need to starve yourself but you just might need to get more comfortable with being just a little hungry.
I like a little jasmine rice or a little fruit if I really need to add something extra.
I'm okay with just a little hungry, that's normal, but I'm trying to get some ideas of what else I can eat besides the obvious
I was told rice is pretty bad for you, is that just a myth? Obviously everyone's experience is different but what kinda rice you eating?
It's gets a bad rep because it's a decently large amount of calories for how much rice you get in a serving on top of essentially only being carbs. Tbh it's not bad you just need to be mindful with it and not over indulge.
On my cuts I eat vegetarian, you can eat a ton of rice and beans if you don't put lard in it or whatever. Same for oatmeal, in my experience eating a high carb diet makes me lose weight really quick.

There is no chance you have enough lean muscle for 300g of protein and still not knowing the basics

Well if you want to be detailed, protein is used not just for muscle mass but also for all sorts of tissues, enzymes, digestion, hormones, binding tissues, tendons, blood..
being a fat frick means you generally have more tissue of all sorts, so you do theoretically need more protein
Therefore 2g/kilo or 1g/pound of protein is the baseline
This assumes you are actually going to lift, run, push muscle groups to failure multiple times a week, require a lot of recovery, increase your metabolism massively and therefore use a lot of protein
It is difficult to maintain calorie deficit on 300g of protein, therefore go with powders, boiled eggs, dry lean chicken/tuna etc
Do we have any material evidence that eating more than 0.7 g / lb does anything beyond placebo?

Sorry lad. Boiled eggs, lean dry chicken and beef, tuna, certain types of cheese..
Not even peanuts or sunflower seeds satisfy whole protein (all 20 amino acids) per calories standards for cutting.
Since gains only need protein, few grams of saturated fat (for hormones), and since cutting means calorie deficit, its all just gonna be dry chicken and protein powder.
Hey, at least artificial sweeteners in protein powders taste good, and there is no conclusive evidence that they are harmful.
