I decided to stop drinking due to financial reasons and now i'm wondering to stop eating the other three in order to get in shape. What about you, guys?

I have this problem too. I eat fast and I'm always hungry

I don't understand the concept of "filling" foods as I could just keep going irrelevant of what it is. Now about the fast part... Yeah I finish my food by fast bites and even faster chewing.

I've heard chewing and eating food slow will give you a greater sense of satiation
I think I'm going to try and experience hunger in order to lose weight, maybe fasting idk

            Fasting is good
I dropped about 25 lbs from it and it lowers your appetite. I warn you however once you start eating your brain will go into overdrive and you will want to eat everything in site. But, another positive is that food cravings are actually specific rather than to just stuff your gullet

Eat as much as you can while you can. You'll miss it when she's gone.

How much were you drinking? Daily? I’m about to try getting off the sauce again tomorrow since I got some vodka to finish off tonight. If I don’t stop soon I’m gonna get hooked physically and of course booze leads to eating at night

Alcohol. Overall my diet is pretty good but god damn, every single social event seems to revolve around drinking can after can of beer. I'm tempted to just go dry but I'm a little worried my friends would stop inviting me to stuff altogether.

Honestly just beer. I do eat less than optimally sometimes but it's always easy to clean it up. Beer on the other hand, once I get started it's hard to stop

Organic chocolate bars, so I restrict to once a month tops. Their absence makes them taste that much better when I finally decide to get one. Also any of the baked goods from the nearby bakery. Their muffins will make you believe in a loving god, but they're heavy carbs that make you feel kinda crappy after so I'm not nearly as tempted by those.

I'm generally quite alright with food choices. Rarely order snacks etc.
I just overeat A LOT if there's more than 1 portion available.

Chocolate chip cookies are the bane of my existence. Now and then I’ll crave a good burger but the chocolate chunk cookie from Wendy’s will make you believe in a kind and loving god, good homemade ones are even better. I had a 3 day brown butter chocolate chip cookie that a family member made a while ago and I’m afraid it’s the best I’ll ever experience, nothing has scratched the itch since

For the chocolate switch to only 80%+ and have a small amount at a time.
