What are your yoga routines?

What are your yoga routines IST? I'm looking for something to relieve the tightness in my hips especially when doing hanging leg raises and something to help with my anterior pelvic tilt, any suggestions?

Are u looking for a full vinyasa or just a few singular stretches to open the area ?

Obviously every1 is doing this one right? Also you need to hold ur pose for at least 2 min if u want to do anything more then feel good temporarily.

Absolutely. The fascia is the connective tissue between ur muscles and it does not stretch with them it takes at least that amount of time to open the fascia which is why stretching for less still makes t ur muscles feel good but is not helpful for long term recovery. Fast stretching is for warm ups not healing

I did yoga at the gym this morning for the first time. When I got into the position where you are cross-legged on the floor and stretching to the side, lifting up the thigh it felt fricking amazing and I realized there really is a lot more to it than you would think unless you really experience it

      >do new stretch
      >stretches muscles I haven't stretched before
      >feels fricking amazing
I think I know what you mean.

i started with this 30 min ashtanga routine, it's fun/challenging at first. Now i do the 45min but skip most sitting positions and do other shit instead

Also ashtanga is designed to work in an antagonistic way. Especially in ashtanga the pose before and after whatever your doing is specifically there to make sure you don’t work any of your body out of balance. Like is it boring? Ya but it’s healthier for your body to be worked in a balanced way.

Can you recommend some routine my guy?

I like this guy if I want to work out
In general ‘ power yoga’ will be fast and a work out.

If you want to aid recovery or open a tight area it will not open in a quick vinyasa like above. Only yin yoga really truly can fix your posture and injuries. All yin is the same you sit in a pose for 2 mins at a time I particularly like this one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7saBbAqsoOM
But all yin is really the same it can’t frick u up as much as ashtanga but just like ashtanga if you don’t do a flow ( starting with a prep pose and following thru with the opposing part of but he body) u can actually become asymmetrical visually over time. Dw all teachers know this so if ur doing an online class just do all the poses and ur sweet.

Also also for anyone with tight hips the problem in dudes is often actually where ur hip inserts. Try this and see if you feel any difference

I use link related. It's very basic and after watching through it once you don't need the video. Just some basic stretches to improve flexibility. My flexibility is awful
