The weight eventually stabilizes, of course there are freaks with especially horrible diets that keep growing until they're over 800lbs and shit but that's actually hard to do
So diets as of about 1980 are basically exactly the same except a lot more carbs? Doesn't look like a decrease in protein or fat go along with the carb uptick. So everyone adding a bunch of carb calories to their diets with no other adjustments can be a cause of the obesity epidemic?
So it's really just processed/refined carbs, which is basically all anyone eats anymore.
I think they also lead to overeating and weight gain by rapidly raising/dropping blood sugar and insulin levels which leads to increased hunger frequency and fat storage.
That graphic is a shit. Total fat consumption has increased a lot in the US (specially seed oils). And the average kcal consumption is around 3500 nowadays.
The guidelines are setup in such a way that it's difficult to get a good outcome. Governments recommend people to eat a shit ton of grains and to limit fat intake, which results in people eating and getting used/addicted to shit foods. People are stimulated to eat low fat variants that have added sugar and aren't satiating. which make it a lot harder not overeat or eat junk food. If the recommendations were natural food, including whole fat dairy, meat, and eggs, it's a lot easier to feel satiated and not overeat.
Incorrect. The government recommends 2000 calories a day for men and 1500 for women. That's near starving for active men. If people got even close to the calorie recommendation, we wouldn't have an obesity epidemic.
>less activity >more office jobs >no one can cook >most accessible foods are high calorie but not satiating >no one has any idea of the basics of nutrition so the fall on memediets that make things worse >Jews
people eating more makes them obese?
what a keen observation OP
its not the carbs its literally CICO
because fatties just stuff their face and dont move
(highly processed food with glucos syrup didnt help though)
I've talked to quite a few people candidly that struggle with their weight. The unifying factor is that they're highly emotional about food. >They feel lethargic and hungry >Nothing sounds appetizing >They just drink a sugar/fat drink because it makes their anxiety go away for likes 30 minutes >Feel like shit >Drink another sugar/fat drink >Binge eat late at night because they're hungry and there's icecream in the fridge >Repeat daily + alcoholism
They're driven to food by their appetite rather than starting the day with a plan in place for what they're going to eat that day.
>Malnutrition which leads to hormone diseases like thyroid, which leads to easily piling on weight. >Depression >Eating food too high in calories >Having too much estrogen
Feminist movement reached a point where women were pushed into the work force instead of staying home and making healthy meals for their families. Goyslop also makes up a much higher percentage of what people eat today.
too much refined carbohydrate and added sugar. not enough nutritious animal protein and fats. half a century of demonizing saturated fat and animal foods
Do fat people stay fat or are they in constant growth?
It depends what they eat.
The weight eventually stabilizes, of course there are freaks with especially horrible diets that keep growing until they're over 800lbs and shit but that's actually hard to do
Most hit a limit where they feel disgusting and then limit themselves to whatever calories it is to maintain that.
Processed and artificial food and modern urban lifestyles.

Right. Carbs are not satiating. Telling people to eat less fat was a mistake that only caused increased carb consumption.
Carbs are only satiating when eaten with fiber
So it's really just processed/refined carbs, which is basically all anyone eats anymore.

It's not shit. It's just that the "low fat" recommendations have resulted in high intake of processed food like sugar, flour, and seed oils.
It doesn't make sense. Recommendations advise against eating deep fried food or too much sugar. People don't follow the guidelines.

good job completely missing the point
Eating too many calories.

>more office jobs
>no one can cook
>most accessible foods are high calorie but not satiating
>no one has any idea of the basics of nutrition so the fall on memediets that make things worse

All of which are extremely common in modern times

This is part of it.
Also deindustrialization meant less manual labor.
People also drastically dropped in active leisure activities.
too much refined carbohydrate and added sugar. not enough nutritious animal protein and fats. half a century of demonizing saturated fat and animal foods
Lack of self control, a society focused and pushing ever growing consumption, and a lack of movement.
calories
Wrong. It's carbs.
