This, pretty much. If you have rich parents then you're pretty much set for life.
Knew a guy in uni who barely passed his classes and now he dailies a lambo.
They became doctors and opened their own practice (which is still running and bring in money). The guy is literally a fat dumbo and will inherit the company and enjoy life working like 3 days a week.
Many such cases.
NTA but my parents got rich by being frugal and really hardworking. Now they are like 7 houses and a fat portfolio rich. All so I can dick around and not care about money kek
>frugal
Why do fit/zens/ consider frugality a virtue? Is it so you can blend into normality and don't get judged/robbed? It seems when someone brings up they have money, they get salty replies but the truth is always hidden in the one question: how did you get the bag
They don't have any physical abnormalities. You don't have to be good looking, you just have to not be abnormal. If there's anything about you that makes a woman think "damn, that's weird" or "damn he's hard to look at", you're out of luck. Well, almost. There's always women who don't mind such things, but very rare.
Yeah, being physically attractive used to be actual criteria for shit like law and medical school. It didn’t actually mean you had to be good looking, just had to be well groomed, not overly fat, or inbred tier ugly. It’s not technically criteria anymore but it’s pretty obvious that still matters.
But the other 2 I guess they are good at financial investments and are cheap. LIke these people have all the money in the world and are clipping coupons. That is probably why they're wealthy
they live in their completely own world and talk about real life problems exactly the way the people in American psycho did
they just talk over you, they don't care about anything they're just above everything, but somehow seem charming
have made similar experiences i know a guy who is billionaire rich and he never ever says anything with substance
it's as if they're controlled by some power way above them
some kind of super autist who tells them exactly how to behave
Dude you have to be the most soulless poster on earth with these fucking threads everyday. You'll end up like a Tim Ferris character self-optimizing himself into depression. Read a nice novel and care for the people in your life. You need love and connection, not what they're trying to sell you as success.
They're all hella smart and had their life goal career in mind before High School ended. One's an aerospace engineer, one civil engineer, and one biochemist. I'd say the take away is if you don't know what you want to do with your life by the time you turn 18 you're gonna have a much lower success chance.
Knowing what you want to do early is so crucial. Lately, I feel like you’re screwed if you don’t figure it out by 30+. This seems especially true if it’s like politics or art or something and not a conventional career or business.
slight mental illness that leaves them just off-kilter enough to feel like they always have to be fixing or accomplishing things
a profound lack of creativity
the ability to accept, not even notice, or even be quite satisfied with incredibly disappointing, banal, trite, stupid, clichéd, creatively-bankrupt things
shit, also this thing about knowing what they wanted to do early:

This one rings a bell with all the successful people in my life
It's almost like some kind of OCD
My girlfriend is super driven and successful but neurotic and whenever she gets really, really anxious about work or something, she'll start doing something batshit like scrubbing the inside of the freezer
They’re old. I only know two people under 35 who I would say are successful. They are both huge nerds that went to near-Ivy schools and have pretty good work ethic.
Lots of money from the start.
>t. Went to posh University and somewhat posh school

If my parents weren't paying for my college I would've dropped out by now, even though as it is I'll only be graduating a year late.
