They don’t. Fasting is for retards. Omad is for retards. Eat at maintenance, get necessary protein and do your workouts. It’s all that simple.

They don't. Fasting is the lazy mans way and he do not work out

you dont, you feel like shit. ive done fasting for the morning before because of work and you are indeed sluggish and lazy tired as fuck. but your body does adapt to it. i wouldnt recommend it unless its literally the only thing you can do, or you are doing it for something other than fitness(ie career, making more more improving social relations etc).

ever notice how theres all this shit for ppl to lose weight, "do keto, go vegan! intermittent fasting, omad" and yet when someone with a ghrelin deficiency asks what to do to eat more you here "gomad" and we all know how retarded that is? yeah, its the same thing. its all fucking retarded and people just need to eat a balanced diet and EAT LESS OF SAID DIETARY INTAKE. same shit different story EAT MORE FOOD, dont drink a whole gallon of milk a day ffs just EAT MORE OF EVERYTHING.

      >picrel, its you fucking retards trying to figure out such a simple god damn concept EAT LESS BURN MORE CALORIES
      >want the magic pill? take DNP and then die

look man, if it didn’t work for you, that’s fine. no need to sperg out over it and get your panties in a twist because you don’t have the self-control to skip breakfast and can’t live without your food addiction

You have plenty of fuel inside you, fatty. Last weekend I hiked 24 kilometers on an empty stomach. I lead the way the whole way through, felt I had energy for days.
        Based.

        Stay fat

I feel like I have more energy when not eating. After eating I feel like I slow down a bit, the body has to divert resources into digestion or something.

I've never ever felt more energy after eating. I don't understand people who need to eat food to get energy. It's like food is a drug to them like coffee or meth. My energy stays the same or gets worse after eating.

Insulin spike, stay away from sugar and excessive carbs.

I did omad for about 10 months
Workouts felt fine, but overall performance was less ofc.
But I felt great, more overall energy, better mental clarity throughout the day.

Currently doing sort of OMAD and can confirm. Not full retarded so I maybe have a small snack for lunch but save my full meal for the evening. Can confirm on being more focused throughout the day, workouts going great as always

I'm doing something similar, I do OMAD on rest days but eat a lunch on workout days. Makes it so I'm not dying during a workout but still on a pretty nice deficit throughout the week.

I'm this guy. Only thing I'm kinda worried is long term effects on metabolism, insulin and all tgst stuff. Anybody knows more about the topic?

Its great for your metabolic health, not building a performance geared metabolism.

Just come out of it for a few months then go back in when you feel you should/can.

My workout performance has always been better fasted.
Stamina may be reduced for longer routines, but I tend to get better strength in sets.
Feed afterwards and enjoy feeling like you're actually utilising the food you consume

    >eat 1000+ calories higher carb meal 2 hs before workout
    >eat small high protein meal after workout
    >don't eat for another 16 hours

I basically train at the top of my blood sugar levels when starches start to digest. A lot of people suggest training fasted and eat afterwards, but I don't want a really heavy meal right before sleep.

I do exactly the opposite because I don't like training at insulin peak

Just eat an hour or two before you train. Training while fasted(24hr+) is aids. You can do cardio but it sucks. Weight training is even worse.
Omad is easy and it works. If you can't stomach the large meal just do cico or do a 2 hour eating window.

seen some retards early in the topic talking about “they don’t”
anon, when i hit day 3 i have an insane amount of energy. I’ll end up doing about 2 hours of cardio (bike, row, or incline fast walk) and a full weightlifting session. i have done that day after day while fasted, to my max fasting streak of 9 days. it’s not that hard.

caffeine and/or nicotine, simple as. you can also time your omad before your workout or just after you wake up riding your circadian cortisol spike.
