both sides of the same moronic coin. just eat a balanced diet of both you frickin morons

I'm not a strict vegetarian, but I mostly eat like one (I only eat meat or dairy once a week) and it's given me ridiculously easy weight loss on a high carb low-fat diet. On the other hand, I've known enough keto people and while they all lost weight initially they gained it all back with interest and health problems. Tumors, heart problems, and a general look of sweating bacon grease from the center of their forehead.

Only idiot npcs use the word "balanced" when talking about diet. There is no actual agreement about what that even means. The western diet without any junkfood is traditionally considered to be a "balanced" diet and it will take decades off your life. I've also never seen a single person talk about a "balanced" diet that actually manages to eat only unprocessed food. They're all eating absolute trash while they shit-talk your effective diet.

you're getting triggered over a word, it's making you look like a fool
an even proportion of both meat and plants, is that easier to process?

Except that is wrong you stupid fricking idiot.

        >The western diet without any junkfood is traditionally considered to be a "balanced" diet and it will take decades off your life.
If the food took decades of people's life in the western world they would lose at least 2 decades of their life and the expected living age in the western world is around 80 years. Your estimation would put them down to at least 60 years life expectancy.

This is genuinely and unironically one of the DUMBEST things I have ever read on this board, and I include jafarposting in that. You should be put in prison for being so dumb.

6 liters of coke a day and nothing but corn, sugar and pork fat seems like a great diet strategy

No wonder Mexicans over 30 are all so fit and healthy looking

It really won't, a few years at most, as long as you're not doing something very stupid. If what those guys say would be remotely true, then you would find tons of people in their 80s, 90s, 100s that ate super well. What you actually find in those groups is often people who just ate moderately. 90s is quite an age. You would find that people who ate the best and had no cakes and stuff dying in their 90s. But as much as diet extremists wished it to be the case they simply don't, they enjoy cake and shit as much as anyone.

Unless they are unlucky or eat very stupidly literally everyone dies in their 80s and in the last decade of their lives they will have difficulties. There are exceptions sure but as a rule of thumb it works.

the idea of a balanced diet being good for you is so moronic, that means half your diet is good and half of it is bad you moron

A balanced diet just means you don't eat tons of candy and junk food like an idiot, and not skimping out on your veggies. Learn to enjoy life with some moderation m8.

As I said, that is moronic. That is the bare minimum and if you believe that it's the ideal diet you are a lazy moron who lacks the cognitive ability to actually think.

Exactly this. Meat and plants are both good for you, but all meat or all plants is bad for you.

I used to be a radical anti-vegan "bacon lmao" moron back when I was younger during the Epic Mealtime craze and all that. Then I took part of a challenge to go vegan for one month back in 2011. Didn't go back after that, literally all aspects of my health got better, both objective and subjective.

I'm so ashamed for the behavior I displayed before that, but it makes me not care whenever I see other people still acting like that. It's easier to hate than to make hard decisions.

this thread is a good proof that anti-vegans are just as moronic as vegans.
because by now you'd have to be a moron not to avoid processed red meat unless you want to live shorter. and i bet noone hunts and most of IST couldn't even slaughter a cow, probably never even saw a cow or a pig get killed. the product delicious but that doesn't mean you should eat it, usually it's the opposite. you're out of touch with your body, seriously. just like hardcore vegans growing basedboobs. you'll grow rectal tumors, it's the keto equivalent, enjoy.

      Anonymous

      >middle ground fallacy
I could slaughter anything you like. The product is delicious, I should eat it very much because we have the stomach acid and the intestine ratio of a carnivorous species.
You're out of touch with your body if you forcefeed yourself some plant slop garbage not to kill beings that are on Earth for you to eat.
      >rectal tumors
      sure thing buddy.

The whole vegan ideology relies on comparing it to the standard Western diet and calling it a "meat-based" diet despite 80% of its calories coming from plants, albeit ultra processed ones. The trick is that ANY diet is better than the standard Western diet.
This does not mean going vegan makes you healthy. Hell, most vegan shit that's sold nowadays is highly processed, very calorie dense, filled with rancid seed oils and packed with flavorings to make it hyperpalatable.

80% of my calories come from meat, fish, dairy and eggs. The rest are lower kcal vegetables and legumes because I'm cutting. No processed shit. Never felt better.
Don't listen to the morons who tell you to dump butter or cream in your coffee though. Just cook with a normal amount of fat like a normal person.
Going meat-based makes fat loss so much easier because the high protein makes you feel extremely full.

    I follow the Chad diet:
    >Set a protons target
    >Split remaining calories 50/50 between carbs/fats
    >Eat processed shit like once a week

      Anonymous

Sounds based, but do you have any recommendations for high-proton foods?

        Anonymous

        not him but
lean meat and poultry (5% fat ground beef, lean beef cuts, chicken/turkey breast)
lean fish (tuna, pollock, cod, sardines, mackerel etc)
whey (with water or skim milk)
        0% fat quark

    It’s not hard.
Eat salad, rice, beans, bananas, potatoes, and chicken most days.
Every week have some kind of fish or red meat for a meal.
