Had some cavities because I mouth breathe while sleeping. Brush twice a day, sometimes 3 if I have something sugary and feel I need it. Floss most days. My diets not too bad so I'm not that worried about getting more cavities.
38, never had a cavity but I haven't been to a dentist in five years so maybe I've developed one , who knows. I only floss and brush after dinner but I waterpik after every meal. Also I've never been a soda drinker, probably helps.
Brush my teeth when I wake up, and brush + floss before bed (no point in flossing in the morning because I havent eaten or anything in my sleep lmao)
Also dont consume moronic amounts of sugar, a can of soda or energy drink every now and then is okay, just don't drink more than a can a day
And I'm old as shit too, almost 30, so clearly what I've been doing works because most peoples teeth are fricked by the time they hit 25. I'm not exactly genetically blessed either, my family all have shit teeth from not taking care of them
>most peoples teeth are fricked by the time they're 25
Lmao my buddy is 22 and broke his molar on a fricking chicken select from McDonalds. Its easy to feel invincible at 18 and neglect looking after yourself, but please take care of your teeth bros
Rinse your teeth off with a large glass of water after taking in anything that isn't water. Besides that just brush and floss once per day. No problems.
>mfw qt dentist says that she's happy to see me and that my teeth are in great condition
I brush 3 times a day and floss correctly, proxy brush and waterpik every other day, also i wear my retainer
If you’re not concerned about fluoride consumption, this is very true. The most benefit fluoride has on your teeth comes from prolonged exposure. Rinsing it off leaves only tapwater in its place, which also has fluoride, but saliva replaces faster.

Habits:
