what is the absolute fastest way I can lose weight without losing what little muscle I have.
I've been obese my whole life (30yo). I'm willing to break every rule possible at this point. but I probably won't be able to use most stimulents because of anxiety disorder.

despite my complete lack of sports in my life, debilitating anxiety disorder, and alcoholism, I'm more physically active than a LOT of people. plus I want to either lift or do boxing after I lose the first 20ish kg.

It doesn't matter what you do at work. You don't have any muscle worth worrying about. Just eat less, it's not fricking brain surgery.
You're just using this shit as an excuse to not do what it takes. Put the fork down, lose weight. Then worry about building muscle.
yeah you're probably right. It would probably take me a month at most on gear to recuperate and exceed whatever I'll lose. or 3 months no gear considering I have never done any real weightlifting.
Noob gains will more than make up for it.
Or, conversely don't do what idiot trolls on a Finnish pottery glazing forum tell you. You know what's right, don't take shortcuts. Eat meat and vegetables, work out. Do some cardio, consistency if what gets you there. Learn to love the process.

Try not eating anything. Drink only water. See how it goes. If you're that overweight you will lose fat a lot faster than muscle and it is more critical to your health at this point.

Try fasting while continuing to train as hard as you can. You'll hear broscience about the body chewing muscle mass this way but that's not the way it works unless you're actually, literally starving. We didn't evolve to consume muscle while hanging onto fat stores when faced with no food. Something to do with a large growth hormone release, from the medical stuff I've read on it.
I've dropped good amounts of BF this way and been just as strong as before after refeeding.

I was afraid of muscle loss, which is clearly not a problem for orthodox monks.
You will always lose muscle on a cut unless you're on gear. Arguably you will lose the least of it by fasting you will enter ketosis which means your body will prioritize fat reserves over muscle mass. Your job is to continuously excercise and stimulate them so as to remind your body not to cannibalize that and that you need it.
PSMF. Protein Sparing Moderation Fast. You eat one meal a day of nothing but pure protein, no fat, no carbs. Literal heaps cans of tuna fish and plain chicken breasts, with some salt for electrolyte purposes. Exercise of some sort during each day. Doctors literally prescribe this in hospital settings to obese patients for rapid weight loss. Do a few days of PSMF, then refeed normally for a day, then do PSMF again, rinse/repeat.
1% of bodyweight per week on a diet that gives you 1g protein per lb of lean mass.
70% veggies
30% meat
no carbs
no sugar
no hunger
no work out
