this but they're so hard to eat compared to rice or potatoes if you're bulking. Maybe it's me but I get nauseous trying to eat 2 cups of oatmeal whereas I can down 3 cups of rice with ease

you don't need to cook them, they're already steamed when you buy them. just mix some milk and whey, pour it over the dry oats and eat it like cereal.

All carbs are literally sugar moron

No they literally are not. Sugar is made by joining Glucose and Fructose through a glycosidic bond. While starch is a polysaccharid made up of glucose units in a branching way.

They are chemically not the same and thus nutrionally not the same. Fructose is metabolized mainly in the liver (where it facilitates NAFLD). So plain sugar should be avoided while starchy carbs are generally preferred. They are also slower absorbed (even slower the more they are branched if I recall correctly), thus spiking you blood sugar less.

Dairy is best, by far. Followed by honey, then fruit. Grains are goyslop.

Carbs are only good for gaining weight though. Adults don't need carbs.

Honey is often 30-40% Fructose, so it is slightly better than tablesugar (which is 50%), but it is still better to avoid it or eat it in small quantities.

          Anonymous

Carbs should be avoided entirely. If you're going to eat sugar honey is a good option because it's bee food. Plant-based carbs are full of harmful substances because it's not food.

Plain boiled potatoes are the best. Vitamin c, tons of potassium, other minerals and vitamins as well. Rated number 1 on most satiating carbs. I turbo bulked for over a year (like a moron) and plain boiled potatoes and chicken helped me lose 30 pounds

The masses tend to be wrong. You take comfort in your views being popular but intelligent people see popularity as a red flag.

Pic is Ryan Talbot: All American decathlon champion, and zero carb carnivore. Every single one of his opponents ate carbs and he beat them all.

Optimal diets on the other hand have been tested for decades. If it was so obvious then someone would have realized by now. But hey, if you wanna think you know better than decades of trials and error then I’m not gonna stop you.

You were suggesting that masses of idiotic losers doing idiotic things makes those idiotic things less idiotic. It only takes ONE (1) person not eating carbs and BTFOing all the idiots to prove they are idiots.

There's no justification for carb consumption. It's just idiots copying idiots.

One guy ate zero carbs. He won. A large number of people ate carbs. They all lost.

The possible positions which can be taken are:
                1. carbs are harmful
                2. carbs are useless

Pick one. I'm happy with both. The claim that carbs are needed is eliminated beyond any doubt.

Potatoes are easily the most nutritious. Excellent source of potassium.
Rice is the most "pure" if you want to be an autist about your macros and micros.
They're all good in moderation and when strategically timed to reduce cortisol and increase insulin during an anabolic window.
