    I would call them "woodchoppers" but that name has already been co-opted by an exercise that looks nothing like chopping wood

    it's a standing tricep pushdown variation but you start with your arms straight and extended over your head as you lean forward at the hip, like you are holding an axe/hammer above your head. Then you swing down, starting the movement with your upper back/chest muscles and transitioning to your triceps at the bottom, and slowly come back up, without moving the angle of your torso or position of your hips.

    I just started doing reverse grip barbell curls with a wrist twist.
    It seems to be working great for forearms and bicep length.
