>LOGAN'S RUN >dystopia future >Carousel scene and state-mandated death for those 30+ and burden on society
kino as frick futurist movie of 70s with huge prophetic aspects for 21st century culture of death and euthanasia. Was literally thinking of this movie last week as prophetic.
A dennys with a methlab in the attic and a pinball arcade in the basement. Cops have raided my goddamn pinball arcade 3 fricking times and broke my vintage kiss pinball machine from 1985
Only youth makes life worth living. It has nothing to do with hedonism.
People are ecstatic for life relative to how young they are. It's no coincidence youth is exalted as the prime of one's life. Throughout the world youthfulness is the standard sought by almost all. It offers charm, beauty, health and happiness to those who have it. It is always searching for new sensations, new visions, new adventure, new romance, new thoughts and new ideas. Youth charms the world with its impetuous, carefree attitude and welcomes the exquisite temptations of life. It searches for change and laughs at failures. It is associated with the highest physical vitality and mental enthusiasm. Indeed, youth is the visible symbol of the joy of existence. It stands on a pedestal above all else. Everyone holds his youth to be worth the highest price; we are all thrilled by the feeling of youth. No one would give it up for any compensation, and once it is past, nearly all would give practically anything to have it back. It is the one thing we all cherish if we still have it, or desire if we do not have it. If you are young there is nothing you would trade for your youth; if you are old there is probably nothing you would not give in
order to be young again.
cringe post. surveys asking about happiness consistently show people in their 60s reporting more happiness than those in their 20s. life is what you make it, if you idolize youth then you're bound to be miserable when you're old.
lmao you fell for marketing. everything is marketed towards younger people because they are more easily influenced and dont have enough experience, your definition of romance is disney/movie love.
Maybe a good amount of tv and movies are centered around youth because it’s visually pleasing. But as a youth with no wealth and little opportunity to accumulate it compared to my parents generation I’d have to disagree.
I'm over 40 and you will understand a lot more when you're older. I can guarantee I mog you in every facet of life, wealth, happiness, family, lifting numbers etc.
You kicked all the ass in your 20's so you can build up a foundation for others to achieve what you did. Find someone an inspire them, use your knowledge to help others. That's what getting old is about.
Everything seems centered around the youth because young people are self centered , as is normal at that age. When you get older maybe you’ll have a family or find something you care for more than yourself which is truly a happy life. Don’t buy into the consumerism and self centered life style pushed on you.
My 30s will be the best decade of my life. Young enough to stay in peak physical form, old enough to have learned some shit so I won't frick up quite as much.
Try aiming a bit higher.
I'm 33, best shape of my life, making bank (as a medgay) and I steal zoomerettes from zoomers because they simply can not compete.
You 30's are your best years as a man.

As a man in my early 40s who is married and has a good career and everything i ever wanted...life is hell after 30. Seriously just die at 30 youre better off. My greatest accomplishment if 2022 is that i didnt kill myself. Im fit, i practice mma, i have a ton of constructive hobbies. It still sucks.
I'm 37 and this is the reality so believe this please..
At any age you can be happy or sad. It doesn't make a lot of difference. Actually your circumstances don't have that much influence either, for example I haven't had a proper relationship in quite a long time but I'm still relatively happy - I'm stressed about it but have an optimistic attitude. I don't know what it would take to make me think well this is just fricking shit and to kms, of course it could happen but it would have to be like some horrible terminal condition. I don't get depressed easily.
The point is that your age doesn't really matter for how happy you are, that is all incel/doomer shit and the people saying it the loudest are the ones with the most problems. You can 80 and really happy and satisfied, we all know people like that, so how does talking about being depressed because you're 30 make any sense - it doesn't. Just stop wasting your time and energy on this shit, it's all rubbish.
If you set your life up for success in your teens or 20, Then the point of your 30s is to reap the sexual fruits of doing things right in your 20s and to use what enormous vigor you still have to procure a safe enviroment for your seed.
>sexual fruits of doing things right
This homie thinks he's gonna get 20 something pussy in his 30s. Or even worse, you're in your 20s thinking you know exactly what your 30s will be like
I met my 21 year old wife at 29. 30s was pretty cool for me. Younger chicks are attracted to established men in their 30s. 40s? Not sure yet but im 39 and all the zoomies at work don't believe it
Everyone in this movie is ignorant, even the computer running everything. The Runners attempts make me think of boomers and all the die age-defying BS.
I'm 33, best shape of my life, making bank (as a medgay) and I steal zoomerettes from zoomers because they simply can not compete.

Take a picture of your souroundings right now if you are home. If you aren't, take a picture of your car key fob
You wont. Why? Because you are poor. Pic related.
There is a 100% chance you will do 1 of 2 things: >ignore this post >reply with a nerdy, picless LARP
It isn't until your late 20s and early 30s where the vast majority people begin getting their finances in order. I am 31, own a house, have a $70,000 car, and make 6 figures between my career in Fintech and a side hustle.
You, on the other hand, are poor. If you aren't living with mommy and daddy (which you probably are, zoomers are the most coddled generation to ever exist) then you are living in either a shitty apartment or in a shitty dorm room and don't even have a job.
Take a week off and take a trip to the Bahamas. Oh, what that? You cant do it? Because you are poor? Lmao...
The zoomer's entire personality and being revolves around "youth" and as soon as they hit 30 its going to be like some sort of midlife crisis/ego death. I expect mass suicides and drug overdoses
I've been lifting seriously since I was 18, and am now 33. I know the narrative is that it's supposed to be downhill for men after 30, but I'm easily in the best shape of my life and moving more weight than I ever have. In my 20s I was NEVER able to lose enough fat to have washboard abs, but I finally have at 33 and have never been stronger in my lifts
Based. In your 20s you are just being mogged and cucked by Chad. Surrounded by people who had more positive feedback loops and more of a head start so they get to have all the fun while you dont. I see no reason why anyone should mourn their 20s unless they were Chad or a high-tier normalgay which statistically most men are not
>a board full of same dyels who gave up on themselves on their fitness journey barely benching 185 for anything trying to convince me that it's also all over when I'm 30, test tanks and evaporates, muscles atrophy, wiener shrivels, joints flare up, it's all over

Just hit 30s, my main aim is to exact as much pain as I suffered to the younger generation through high rents, higher cost of living and forcing them to work as hard as I did.
tbh you cant even be jealous of young people right now. Who cares about being young in a post-covid pozzed clown world where trannies run rampant? If the world were still like it was in 2012 then I'd be salty
Now I remember that was really a shitty movie.
Renew. Logan's Run was dope.
no,
is correct. That movie blew ass.

Logan's Run: carousel scene
No point, im going to kms immediately once I reach that lvl
What level you at now?
28
The older people who own and run quite literally everything? Yeah, I think they're doing fine.
What do you run and own?

Multination billion dollar corporation. have a nice day zoomer
that's how you know you've been wasting your life up until now
>Everything in life is centered around youth.
Only if you're a solipsistically-inclined hedonist.
It's true though.
That you have no perception of anything beyond temporary pleasure? Yes, I can tell.
Only youth makes life worth living. It has nothing to do with hedonism.

Beautiful post. And so true. Another thing about youth is potential. Have you seen the movie "Youth"? Or "The Big Beauty"?
Your body and mind are still in tact to do a lot of cool things. But at 40 it's over
Maybe a good amount of tv and movies are centered around youth because it’s visually pleasing. But as a youth with no wealth and little opportunity to accumulate it compared to my parents generation I’d have to disagree.
only if you're a woman
I'm over 40 and you will understand a lot more when you're older. I can guarantee I mog you in every facet of life, wealth, happiness, family, lifting numbers etc.
except the facet of youth
Youth isn't a mog. Young 'people' are stupid. See zoomers.
That is true. That's why there is that saying that "youth is wasted on the young."
You kicked all the ass in your 20's so you can build up a foundation for others to achieve what you did. Find someone an inspire them, use your knowledge to help others. That's what getting old is about.
cope. You dont have a son or daughter you are failed as a human
Letting other people on the internet set the terms of success for your own life. Cope long cut.

The life's great people.
The ones saying it sucks are demoralization trannies that are ass mad that they are balding at 30 and will NEVER pass.
>Everything in life is centered around youth
Only if you are interested in the lives of others. Otherwise its about money which the youth don't have

MY BIRDS
MY BIRDS
I'm 32 and the zoomers look up to me.
Other than trying to keep up with zoomer culture enough to bang hot 20s, I would say that everything gets better as long as you are strong enough.
I love my grandma and my mom loves her as well. When she dies, it'll be the worst day of my life
Mogging the youths. The only thing they can do faster is heal.
You'll know when you get there. But life doesn't have to be over for you. It's just going to be different. And it can be different in a good way.
