I like propping my phone on the little latch that holds the handle, and watch some anime while rowing
Burn about 1000 calories in an hour that way
Am I autistic?
I was already watching whatever cartoon/show/music videos on the tv while using my crosstrainer, so I'm just going to continue that once my rower arrives. It really helps during the last stretch of the sessions.

I do it the day after back day, the DOMS in my lats is great for maintaining good form
Also I think it's a great way to b strengthen your hands and wrists, build some calluses on your hands etc
Would have been nice to know Cyberpunk Edgerunners had a hentai scene on out before watching it in a crowded gym though
>I do it the day after back day, the DOMS in my lats is great for maintaining good form >Also I think it's a great way to b strengthen your hands and wrists, build some calluses on your hands etc
That's exactly what I hope for besides the cardio gains.
how the fuck do you even use these things right? I've been trying to figure them out for years but I barely feel my muscles working when I use one and always end up giving up after about ten minutes and using a bike instead.
>but I barely feel my muscles working when I use one
Either you're not using enough resistance, or you didn't go for long enough.
As for the form it's just: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zWu1yuJ0_g
You've never seen any cardio
Guarantee I have a higher VO2 max than you
yet you didn't post it. curious
NTA but this is my VO2 max, and I smoked heavily for over a decade. Anyone who never smoked regularly should be able to hit low 60s no problem.
miring that VO2 max, you must be able to powerfuck to vaginal death any woman
I think I saw a cardio once.
rowing is a very effective cardio.
it also builds good muscle.
only thing its really lacking is chest workout. other than that its pretty good.
Explain how it is ineffective. Is it ineffective because you're doing it poorly or slowly? You can walk on a treadmill and call it ineffective.
You're sitting down. Its a repetitive unnatural motion. Treadmills are indeed ineffective as well
None of these statements actually show how it's ineffective. They don't even come close.
>Its a repetitive unnatural motion
humans have been rowing boats for thousands of years
not very long compared to the millions in which humans have existed
it might even be millions, we just don't have the paintings to prove it
If Land Bridge theory ever gets debunked, then we have been doing it for as long as we have migrated across bodies of water.
Humans have not existed for even half of a million years
God made humans a few days after he made the universe
prove it gay
and we've been rowing boats that whole time, prove me wrong
That depends on where you draw the line.
Going by Mitochondrial Eve we can at the least say 155.000 years.
Which is 155.000 years of rowing. Not bad
You were sitting down, hunched over your phone as you wrote this post.
Hypocrite that you are.
>Its a repetitive unnatural motion.
>Treadmills are indeed ineffective as well
Is walking repetitive and unnatural?
Treadmills suck for other reasons
Ergs were not made for twinks like you, OP. Better stick to running.
I can't stand running. Boxing is fun
Let me know when you can 500m in sub 1:30 and then talk about it being an ineffective form of cardio.
My old crosstrainer just gave up the spirit, so I finally had an excuse to order a rowing machine. I can't wait!
most of the janky rowing machines you find in gyms hardly simulate rowing a boat
That's a good thing, rowing a boat is gay

I do the same.

It's significantly better than any other fixed in place cardio machine, what did you do, take it easy for 30 seconds?
rowing is based, its like running with your torso. maximum back gains
Intense marketing.
Staring at a screen for 6 hours a day is unnatural too, yet here you are.
