What is this snake diet bullshit? Just one big cashgrab scheme? I'm reading comments where people lost like 15 lbs in a week?? Can I get a proper IST certified qrd on this?

People who lose that much weight in a week almost never keep it off.
I'm just trying to inquire if its even POSSIBLE to lose that much weight by not eating shit for 2 days, then eating 1000 calories across 2 days, then not eating for 3 days, rinse and repeat?
How big were the people who lost 15lb? If they were deathfats, maybe it's true.
Sounds like fasting but with a 1000 cal bonus? That would be about 4-5lb a week I think.
I lost 35 in 10 days in March and it's still off. But I would do 45 miles on the bike everyday and omad every other day for 3 months after.
>People who lose that much weight in a week almost never keep it off.
it took covid for me to gain that shit back
i lost 50 pounds in 3 months with snake diet and maintained it for 8 months, but then covid hit and all i wanted to do was cook since i was working from home and all the gyms were closed
it still works, i think WFH/isolation is an extenuating circumstance
My math professor in college did freelance work for a company that was studying dieting.
She said that out of all the studies they did, people who lost that much weight was because they were on juice only diets and they were 400 plus pounds so the weight loss was very insignificant compared to how much they weighed. She further went on to say that all diets never work not because the diet doesn't work but because people can't make such big changes to their life. Your body goes into shock and it becomes psychologically draining.
She said the only way to truly lose weight was to make changes in your diet slowly and make small changes weekly or biweekly.
Weight loss is a journey not a walk in the park.
She was a former fatty
bullshit. move on.
It's legit. Lost over 60 pounds in a month by fasting for two weeks, refeed, then two weeks fasting again. No workouts. 6 foot two. None of that "intermittent" bullshit though.
from 260lbs
to 200lbs.
how the frick do you not eat anything in 2 weeks and be able to get out of bed? Bullshit.
>What is this snake diet bullshit? Just one big cashgrab scheme?
>eat nothing
>spend money on nothing
>can go on effectively forever
>hurrr durrr he's trying to steal my money
stupid????
longest i did was 7 days and didn't feel physically different at all, it was all mental "i really want to taste something right now"
your body literally can not function without at least minimum amounts of food, not to mention complete lack of nutrients would kill you, I call BS again
>your body literally can not function without at least minimum amounts of food
all that fat you're walking around with is calories
>complete lack of nutrients would kill you
vitamin b deficiency never killed anybody in a month, and if it bothers you that much you can take a multivitamin
your body requires electrolytes, but that's what 'snake juice' is, potassium (NoSalt) and sodium (table salt) which costs a grand total of like 5 dollars for a months-long supply
Alright then homosexuals, I'll do a week long run of 48-refeed-72, if I'm not fricking SHREDDED I'll find you two homosexuals
you won't get shredded unless you're literally so fast you have a frick ton of hidden muscle from having to carry that shit around
with god as my witness you're going to lose a pound a day starting on wednesday
I start right now though, haven't eaten anything in 12 hours. I'll get that salt shit tomorrow. But pound a day is possible on diets that aren't fasting as well
>week long run of 48-refeed-72
This isn't for going shred mode motherfricker. It's for losing fat/weight for fatties/skinnyfats. You wanna be shredded off of fasting? Dry fast for 5-7 days. No refeeds, no showers. Seeya on Saturday.
>no showers
>this somehow helps me lose weight
Literally snake oil
take a before/after picture of sitting in a hot tub for an hour. homosexual.
So, just the water my skin soaked up? Really? THAT'S the meme?
fair enough, good point
I'm a wfh dev, but I also have a social life that needs me to go outside the house, not all of us like to smell like shit, and you definitely DO smell worse the longer you don't shower
Unless you work a job that has you sweating every day then you literally don't need to shower.
nobody cares what u call anything, homosexual. kys
Whenever you come across something like this, ask yourself: does it sound like a meme? If so, move on. If not, consider looking into it.
The problem is that it only sounds like a meme is because it's literally a "one neat trick doctors don't want you to know!". It doesn't require any medicine, it doesn't require you to go out and buy some expensive "diet" food, it doesn't require you to buy a gym membership. Just literally not fricking eating makes industries crumble if fasting was put into the mainstream and became common knowledge as the best way to lose weight, no matter what size you're at.
When I went on a 3 day fast for the first time and told my family about it, they literally told me I was going to die. "You can't just not eat for 3 days!" they were in such disbelief that something could be possible.
>Cash grab
No. See, with most weight loss schemes they try to sell you some bullshit or plan or "top secret" knowledge.
Cole just gives the facts to you straight then tells you the ingredients to make snake juice, which is literally just electrolytes so you dont' feel like shit while fasting for over 3 days. He does sell pre-packed packets for ease of use but he tells you everything to do it yourself.
It's as no BS as it gets. The only thing Cole would financially benefit from is people giving direct support via the packets or merch. He has extreme views on fat people and people who do shit like play video games or are addicted to the internet which isn't good to display if your goal is to scam people for money with a BS diet.
Anyways, yes, fasting is THE best and fastest way to lose weight BUT you do not want to go on extreme fasts with the goal to lose as much weight as possible unless you're like 10-30 pounds overweight. Extreme weight loss will have your skin all fricked up looking. Fasting is still the best way to lose weight. Doing one meal a day or a once a week 3 day fast has a frick ton of benefits for your health and for losing weight and you can go the additional route of doing keto on top. If you're 60+ pounds overweight, OMAD is the best place to start. It gets you used to not eating like a fricking pig and when you're so fricking fat you'll see great results from it. Doing something like once a week or month long fasts can give great weight results but the issue is that it's too easy to fall into the "yoyo dieting" mindset where you go back to your old ways, eat like shit, gain that weight back, and then go "oh it's fine! I can just fast for a week again!" and it's just a loop that doesn't actually teach you to stop being a fat fricking pig.
What is the snake diet? Do they eat live mice?
It's a shitty name but the idea behind the name is how Snakes only eat like once a week or longer and they're "thin".
Would've made more sense to call it something like "caveman diet" if that wasn't already taken because our ancestors were certainly not fricking eating every day, let alone 3 square meals a day and along with living in harsher conditions they were fricking shredded. Humans would not have survived if our bodies were built to absolutely NEED 4000+ calories every day.
i mean it makes sense
is more like 'snake eats a whole animal and just sits there for ages until it digests'
caveman sure , but you always have to tell the story for people to undersand and even then people might not understand
snake eat big
snake digest
snake eat big days later
is a simpler story to tell
in your mind, how does this work as a cashgrab exactly, anyone who follows this advice doesnt eat anything so they cant actually purchase anything from the guy, snake juice is literally just water and salt, so he cant actually sell it to people, so how does it work in your mind
Based on the name I thought it was encouraging people to adopt an ophidian diet. Now I'm disappointed.
its just fasting, and eating before a lift every few days.
how is it a cash grab, the dude literally gives out the recipe for free, high alkaline water mixed with magnesium, sodium, and potassium, lemon juice and a little acv.
