Athleticism is a much better goal than just getting muscular or strong. That's not to say that these things are mutually exclusive, because they're not, it's just that getting athletic is a more manageable/realistic goal than a 400lb squat. I believe we could all benefit from focusing on GPP or getting a physically demanding hobby like kayaking or a martial art. Even something as simple as sprinting will enhance your physical fitness. If your goals are purely aesthetic this approach will help you too.
>I want to see my abs for the first time in my life
>I want to extend my life to my 90s
>I want to be able to live an active life into my 90s
>I want to be strong enough to fight my sleep paralysis demons
I can understand that. I just dont enjoy lifting anymore which is why I've been focusing on fun things like medicine ball throws and kickboxing and other GPP stuff but its kinda for the same goals I guess
i want to look good at my autopsy
That's a good one. If you came up with that one on your own. Good shit
Lifting is just basic hygiene at this point in my head, the same as brushing my teeth. The end goal is the same as with brushing my teeth, to remain healthy and good looking.
The complete destruction of the state of Israel.
Unironically this. It's why I run before every workout 6 days a week and smoke darts before 5km weighed runs. If I can't storm a trench and strangle a redditor after nu-rome collapses what's the point.
To be able to win fights.
8% body fat, hollow cheeks, hot wife
I'm not afraid to die.
I just dont want it to be my fault.
I want to have visible abs without flexing.
I want to be 200 pounds lean.
I want to be symmetrical.
I want to be very attractive to women.
It's okay, o-one is symmetrical, anon.
>What is your end goal?
>or getting a physically demanding hobby like kayaking or a martial art. Even something as simple as sprinting will enhance your physical fitness
something to keep in mind is that, iirc, all those do come with a higher risk of short and long term injuries, so it's not entirely one-sided
To not get back pain from bucking wood, and to work for multiple hours without my heart exploding.
Oh and also make up for my face and lack of personality.
hobbies and lessons imply money
Things like biking or kayaking cost only like $200 if you buy shit off of craigslist/facebook.
>Like the progress of becoming stronger
But most importantly
>6feet7 former lanklet, i have to strengthen my body otherwise i would have lower back pain, on top of that i work a sedentary job.
I want to weigh at least 230 lbs and look scary so bad people feel intimidated and good people feel secure around me.
When i reach my goal i will do wrestling/boxing
I'm your height and combat training did wonders for my motivation to get stronger. They complement each other, for example I would never be mindful of training my grip to be strong (for grappling). Just this made my forearms explode. Also, competition with other men raises your test levels. Don't wait, find a good gym and you'll push each other to be the best.
>Excellent cardio (sub-5:30 mile time)
>Flexible enough to do head kicks
To be the best example of health and fitness I can be for my kids.
I want to live long enough to go to space.
Ana de armas is so fucking hot holy shit
I want to toss this specific girl around and deny her. I just want to show her i can do it.
my end goal is to die peacefully
>Do 2/3/4/5 for 3-5 clean reps
>Be sub 15% body fat
>Have a body I can be proud of
Lately I've been giving up on getting 2/3 and starting to think that I should focus on the latter two goals
My end goal is a lean, evenly muscled physique so that I can do most of the cosplays I want to do without being that fat fuck in an ill fitting outfit. Nobody will question doing some anime cosplay and not having the insane physiques they have, but you can't even pull of most of them without being otter mode at a minimum.
Looking nice is just a bonus on the side.
so i can look like this and romance people who look like this
