Came to post "lying down sideways lateral raise" didn't know their actual name, thanks.
Don't think I have an obscure exercise to post then. Maybe weighted planks, haven't seen anyone else do them but wouldn't call it niche

Lifting one side of the barbell, usually with deadlifts or rows, to create a lever so that it's more resistance on the eccentric is still criminally underrated.

same for me,I do them standing up and use my arms as resistance since my arms will get stronger overtime and offer more force anyway. Dont have to overcomplicate things.

    One arm deadlifts
Negative reps for more difficult calisthenic exercises,or for example pressing a weight upwards during a landmine row with both arms, then during its descent, use only one arm to handle the eccentric, then switch sides and repeat for reps, the more you can the control the weight on the eccentric, the quicker you'll be able to actually lift that weight with one arm, strength, speed and all fforms of physical activity have some form of a neurological adaptation to help you progress further and this would play greatly into that.

sorry by landmine row I meant a ground shoulder press on one side of the barbell not the back exercise
