None because i'm not some homosexual
This tbh
Combat sports > martial arts
How many professional fighters don't have a martial arts background?
You don't understand. Combat sports actually work. Martial arts is strip mall wing chun booboo
You don't consider Judo or Jiu-jitsu to be martial arts?
Judo is an olympic sport and jiu jitsu has been a sport for long time. Combat sports are better than martial arts because with combat sports you compete and actually have to fight another man to win and progress. Martial arts you do the same song and dance some 4 foot tall chinaman came up with hundred years ago and think that makes you a deadly weapon lol
Look there's a lot of fake bullshido out there, but to say that purely drilling arts like tai chi or whatever is representative of martial arts is fricking moronic. Even Karate gets used in MMA now. You're just referring to martial arts where you actually spar.
>Combat sports are better than martial arts because with combat sports you compete and actually have to fight another man to win and progress
And then you get heem'd by a nobody on the street.
And you think the wing chun lessons would help you out in that situation?
From perosnal experience and newspaper research, nah. Wing Chun ain't shit.
There isn't one.
Interestign you guys think of Wing Chun of all things. Wonder why. Zoomers, huh?
So he died fighting multiple opponents, at least one of whom was armed? Sounds pretty badass.
He's a sad boomer fantasizing about stabbing better fighters than him lol what a Black person
A lot of training allows you to carry yourself in a collected and relaxed manner that tends to not attract the types of people that want to hurt you.
I guess you need someone like Jocko Willink or something to say that for you to believe it.
No, i consider them to be gay as frick
>Combat sports actually work
Work for what? Self-defense? Nah. They really don't.
Shit if there's a martial art that makes your skin knife and bulletproof I'll just go do that
isn't it just semantics? UFC is competition for MMA? They seem pretty combative
>t. hit someone / got hit couple of times
Don't bother, this potato has it in his head that combat sports are "real" and martial arts aren't. He'll get tapped in the balls by some little person one day then have a chair flogged over his head because martial arts is about killing.
The popular practice has to be watered down, as a business model, but there have been and still are schools out there that train with everything from unarmed to armed fighting, they tend to function more like local militias.
Again, don't bother with the circular 'martial arts are bullshit' convo, it's bait dropped by c**ts who've never been hit.
Tell us what you train anon
More and more won't because of the maturation of MMA as a sport in itself
t. never did any martial arts before muay thai, but everyone thinks I did
there is nothing combat related about combat sports. its a bullshit name. Martial arts is at least a more accurate descriptor of what it is than combat sports.
Combat sports are martial arts
Combat sports = martial arts
You learn martial arts in the military and police
Martial literally means "warlike", like martial law or martial court
Krav maga
Jewjitsu
>the insecure israelite manlet martial art
Better practice the ancient israeli secret of lying about ovens before a goy gets you.
>mfw my instructor practiced with the JIDF in Israel

I need sleep
I train and teach my 6 year old son muay thai and wrestling. We have a water heavy bag and reflex bag. We will lightly spar each other with head gear and gloves. He did a set of 112 pushups the other day. I’m proud of him.
Based dadanon. People don't say this at all but being a healthy dad that you can actually do shits with is one of the best thing you can do for your kids especially when dad is old and kid is grown
>6-year-old mogs half of IST
He probably only weighs 45 lbs.
that's only 5-10 lbs less than what the twinks posting on this site weigh
>being jealous of a literal child

I do BJJ with my 5 year old. I don't want my kids to grow up as weak ass nerds like I did. The world is only getting harder and more lawless, so combat strength will become more and more important. I'm raising a brood of Aryan supermen and there's nothing anyone can do to stop me.
I can teach my kid to fight buy I live in philly where the most dangerous dude I'd a 115lb black teen twink with a gun. Teach your kid to shoot
This, firearm proficiency and actually carrying is just as important as strength and fighting skills.
I do boxing with my 5 year old son
No matter how hard I punch him he never seems to learn how to dodge and weave though
NGMI
BJJ. It's a pretty good workout, senpai. Hits every muscle in your body with high intensity, including your heart. BJJ people have great physiques.
Judo, it's fun and seemingly underrated by people online and irl
>5–15: karate (Kyokushin)
>15–19: MMORPG
>20–present: MMA
the sword
I wrestle and will be doing some BJJ this summer. Martial arts are silly
I'm turning 34 in March. Didn't start training until I was 19. Here's my timeline.
>19–20: boxing and bjj/mma
>20–24: jujutsu
>24–33: crippling illness
>two weeks ago-present: jujutsu
mma and muay thai.
My favorite is Judo, but I'm down for a bit of anything.
What we need is a 10th planet BJJ but for Judo, that is nogi Judo
That'd be the shit
Rex Kun Do
Pajama wrestling
Love Judo
Love BJJ
Love wrestling
Hate striking arts (hurts my head just dont like em)
Simple as.
I've never been in a fight in my entire life and I'm 35. I imagine if the time came I'd just kick the person as hard as I can in their balls
Just run away instead. People will mock you, yes. But that's better than getting raped in jail for assault.
It would be in self defense
Karate, and I spar regularly with my boxer brother
I don't like touching other men sorry
The blade
Dutch kickboxing and to a lesser extent gay jitsu. I’m gonna buy another 6 month membership when I start my cut at the end of February. It’s all pro-trump Puerto Ricans.
Muay thai. It's fun as frick
Gaykwando
Its like taekwando but you kick with your penis and follow up with a roundhouse from the balls
maybe im getting black belt on muay thai this year or next one and then going to practice bjj next bros, wish me luck
>All and None
>Not Sparring with a different rules set everytime
>Not Learning everything and being a monster
>Not knowing Martiarl Arts =/= Fighting
>Not knowng knowing any Martial Art makes you any% better in a fight
>Not knowing you can lose to an untrained anon with a perfectly timed '''attack''' you weren't prepped for.
Life's predictably random b***h.
You May Lose.
You May Win.
You won't know till then.
We have the word 'underdog' and 'upset' for these reason. Nothing's promised, not even your next breath.
Boxing gang. I also do some kickboxing, wrestling and karate but its mostly boxing. I wanna have my first fight this summer
i did Olympic judo throughout my teens and skiing and then when i won bronze nationally in judo and silver in skiing i started Olympic weightlifting at 17 but never got on the podium
everyone juices in Olympic weightlifting, even the young ones
then i got lazy and became drug addicted neet gamer and got challenger doing speed on euw lol for 4 years and then i quit drugs, got a job and started lifting again
i do muay thai but im mediocre at best
I practice traditional Western boxing, Russian Sambo, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
I refuse to learn krav maga because it does not respect the humanity of your opponent, even if it has noble origins, that is just my way of living
American boxing. Wrestled a season in middle school, don't remember much and wasn't much good
BJJ
I just like grappling a lot and is a ton of fun.
desu, it actually is helping me straighten my life out.. ive noticed that I naturally want to eat healthier instead of forcing myself to eat healthier. among other improvements to my life since starting. none if it was forced, it just came with the territory.
