not saying arms shoulders or legs and just saying the overlooked stuff is disingenuous and stupid.

        Nah man. Punching is easy.
Not getting punched or not getting rekt in one punch is harder.

yeah but you should be able to throw a punch or use your arms in a fight. you're literally talking about avoiding the thing you're saying is "easy" (which wasn't the topic, it was what should he work out) you're saying NAH MAN AVOID PUNCHES BECAUSE THEY'RE DANGEROUS. well yeah that's why you work your arms out too

              you said core neck
              cardio isn't a muscle
              situation awareness isn't a muscle

you left out legs and arms, because you seem to think they're not important, and they are.

english. your'e almost passable but you are not native when we get to specifics because you are saying weird shit that doesn't make sense and misusing words

                >cardio isn't a muscle
News to me. Endurance is breathing + how much o2 your heart can pump. Heart def gets bigger and pumps more with excercise. Many muscles involved in breathing, might not get bigger but you have muscle memory and cns connection which can be trained.

Good punching comes from technique, not being able to bench x plates.
Anon pointed out majority overlooked muscles, but they are still the most important.
Neck so you don't get knocked out.
Core so you can stay balanced, and out more power into your punches (punch strength starts with the feet then hips then core then shoulder THEN arms).
Cardio so you can actually stand up for more than 30 seconds.

its less about developing muscles and more about covering your weak spots. if you have a bad back, work on your back. if you have weak shoulders, work your shoulders

All of the above, but back is the most important so you can look awesome and menacing.

The understanding that you will get punched back and probably tackled.
Why does everyone nowadays do a gay half tackle, half clinch? Or bad form hammer blows for that matter?

If you have 0 technique then learning technique will be more important than muscles. Once you're decently competent though (6 months of Boxing/Wrestling or 1.5 years of BJJ) if you have muscles it's basically like technique on steroids and you can be a hard-hitter and destroy people scrawnier than you.

Traps, abs, legs, and grip strength are the most important.

Look up boxers training. They do a lot of core rotation exercises to generate power (obliques).

Increase the speed you can extend your arm. So: chest, tris, back and front delts. The 100% most effective fighting technique simply has you punch faster than your opponent can put up their hands over their head, assuring a knock-out blow. I've seen many, many fighting videos and this is the guaranteed and definitive fighting technique. All. I imitate a tiger. That isnt some kung fu thing either, I mimics the way a tiger moves and acts and incorporate that into working out. Running. Jumping. I kill the bag.
