He is a multi-millionaire professional footballer obsessed with his diet and exercise. He also spends zero minutes a day studying, working or doing any chores. He has sixteen hours a day to take care of his body, for which he is paid eight figures a year. There was this anecdote told by former teammate Patrice Evra:

"When Cristiano invites you to eat at his house, just say no. He told me to come after training and I went. I was tired, and on the table there was only salad, chicken and water. No soft drinks. I thought there would be meat afterwards, but no. He finished eating, stood up and started playing with a ball. He told me to do toe kicks, and I told him if he could finish eating. He wanted to do the toe kicks and we did, and after that he asked me to go to the pool to swim. I wondered if we had come because we had a game tomorrow or just to eat. So that's why I would recommend anyone not to go to Cristiano's house for lunch because he is a machine and he doesn't want to stop training".

Seems consistant with my theories on most athletes. When I was competitive at the college level I was almost out of my mind on caffine.
Anyone that thinks athletes aren't doing something out of the norm is dellusional, stupid or both.

That manlet also chugged down HGH like tic tacs for his entire youth. Isn't it funny how taking roids to gain maybe 5kg of muscle mass, or taking some other meds to gain maybe 2 ml VO2Max is forbidden and would get you suspended for life if caught, but for some reason taking HGH to gain 20cm of height (which makes a MUCH bigger difference than an extra 5kg of muscle or 2ml VO2Max) is legal and somehow even admired by some people.

I used to think Messi was better too, but cr7 just succeeds everywhere and is THE man in high pressure moments, always turns up.
Messi is more of a system player in my eyes, the Barca system was really made for him. Like in Argentina he wasn't that great, whereas Ronaldo carried a dogshit Portugal squad for a decade and was fantastic in man UTD and juve.

Do you even watch the games? Messi was ok in the round of 16, he certainly did not carry them. Argentina have been ass in general. They will get absolutely clapped by the first real team they face, which will be the Dutch. I will drink a gallon of my own piss if Argentina go through to the semis. Screenshot this and post it if Argentina somehow win, I will deliver.

Bruh he literally opened the score for Argentina and without that stupid mistake the Aussie keeper made they would’ve gone to extra time. Messi throughout the whole game was THE guy generating game. And I’m not even saying anything new. Look up his game footprint or any analysis and you’ll see what he did was a masterclass. (Also cristiano hasn’t done shit this World Cup lmao)

Ronaldo has been absolute shit in this world cup. The one game where he's mostly benched for the whole time Portugal scores 6 goals and he doesn't score a single time eventhought he had like 3 chances.

      >I would recommend anyone not to go to Cristiano's house for lunch because he is a machine and he doesn't want to stop training
This supports my theory of 90% of high-level athletes being autistic. Just instead of becoming interested in train models or DnD character sheets, they got into a sport on a moronic level of fascination. I grew up with guys like that, they could talk for hours just about football, list results and games from 20 years ago. Their clothes were football team fan gear, their books/magazines only about football, on tv they would watch old games on repeat. Any time you would go out with them, you'd end up playing football somewhere "for fun", and they would play for real. Like you could tell they were thinking of tackling your ankles when you started to get near a goal while just kicking the ball around "for fun". Not showing off or being malicious, they just couldn't help themselves, like an autist.

To some extent yes I agree, a regular joe can't become a professional athlete. But I don't think it's ok to mix lifetime of fascination, dedication training etc with simply being autistic obsession, especially since it's literally his job and only reason he's rich

hahaha this is probably true. I heard him in an interview and he definitely seemed autistic.

Imagine answering dumb questions after sprinting for 90 minutes on a language you barely speak without sounding autistic

          >But I don't think it's ok to mix lifetime of fascination, dedication training etc with simply being autistic obsession
My personal theory isn't about calling guys autistic as a bad thing, just an observation. If those same guys got into building miniatures, they would be considered kinda weird outcasts, but because they are into a socially acceptable (even a highly encouraged one) passion, they are called "dedicated" and "true professionals". But the personality is the exact same.
          >a regular joe can't become a professional athlete
There are some top-level athletes that are what you could say "high-functioning". I knew a guy that became a current world champion, and he was very good at being normal, even in gym class. His life was obviously 90% of his sport, but he was able to be alright with normies and not talk too much of his stuff. Knew how to play for fun with amateurs too, didn't show off or bully on the field. Pretty sure he's known now to be a "team" player and playmaker, so it tracks.

      Nice excuses.

Look at how much professional soccer players run in an average game. It's 6-8 miles on average. Build up to being able to run that amount every single day.

Combine this with daily resistance training and an evolutionarily consistent diet (meat, organs, fruit, honey, some tubers) and you can easily look like this.

Multi-millionaire doesn't cut it anymore, multi-billionaire would be more like it. I am not sure if some of the figures I read before were completely accurate but he can make around $250million a year, if it's $100 million a year who cares, multi-millionaire still doesn't cut it. I mean a multi-millionaire could be some guy who has done well for himself that has a bmw that has $3 million, you can hardly throw them all in with the wealth of this type of person.

    >Despite the fact that he has long been one of the highest-paid sportsmen in the world, Ronaldo’s diet those not revolve around expensive foodstuffs, as revealed by his former live-in chef, Giorgio Barone, who gave an insight into the United forward’s diet in an interview with the Sunday Mirror.

    >“There are no expensive foods,” Barone said. “But healthy foods. I use organic and natural foods – fish, chicken, veal, eggs, avocado, coconut oil and black rice. You have to take care of your body as if taking care of a Ferrari.”

    >The Italian chef, who lived with Ronaldo in Turin during his time at Juventus, explained that the 36-year-old striker’s diet focuses on lean protein dishes, whole grains and salads, while he tries to avoid sugars, fats and carbohydrates. And as evident by his viral actions at a Euro 2020 press conference this summer (see video above), Coca-Cola, of course, is a big “no-no”.

    >Another core feature of Ronaldo’s diet under the guidance of Chef Barone was coconut oil, which is understood to help burn fat and to improve cholesterol.

    >“I cook using coconut oil. It is also important to drink plenty of water – but purified. And drink a lot,” added Barone, who insisted that sufficient rest and eating at the right times were also key to Ronaldo’s fitness levels.

That's not a vertical leap. It's a jump with acceleration. One tests your power (potential), the other is a combination of power and technique. These kind of tests are also cheatable. Ronaldo is definetely not a 30incher though.
