    Your body prioritizes carbs as an energy source, so if you’ve eaten enough to meet your energy needs you’ll store the rest as fat(yes protein too).

    People just eat too much carbs generally, it’s important to control your portions but you’re a homosexual is you do keto or some shit. That’s not sustainable or healthy, it’s strictly for near death fats to drastically lose weight in a short amount of time

    Can someone please explain what are healthy carbs and what are bad ones. There's always a homie saying potatoes are bad or pasta is bad, and then another Black person says they're good.

      "healthy" carbs aka complex carbs aka potatoes, whole wheat options, oat, veggies, , things that take "slowly" to digest

      "unhealthy" carbs aka simple/refined carbs aka white options, table sugar, candies

      "unhelthy" carbs are fast acting and digesting, they taste better and go through your system quicker, these are best used prior to a sporting/during a sporting a event as you need "quick energy"

      just google complex carbs and theres a list personally, in a CALORIE DEFICIT i over eat carbs, "clean" or not. in a CALORIE SURPLUS I actually overeat on protein, believe it or not. I do not like much fat and have to go out of my way to hit the minimum (0.3g/lb bw)

      Rule of thumb is: "processed carbs bad, unprocessed good".

      tl;dr in unprocessed foods, carbs are among minerals, vitamins, fiber, among other things, so you feel more "full" and your body works to get the carbs. The oposite is for processed.

    Where do you live where bread and pasta are a staple of your diet? I always see ketoBlack folk post that carbs are “being shilled”. But there’s no fricking way you consistently eat pasta in America. Most Americans are shilled less nutritional foods before simple pasta and bread. You would have to go out of your way to even eat pasta for dinner every night. Do all keto posters live in Italy or something???
