        I had a friend who went through Annapolis and first semester freshman year he told me service members came in to talk to them and he flat out said he killed children during his missions. So if you're cool with that, I would say run a lot and cold water training.

      Outside of that If you are dead set on SPECWAR, I highly recommend looking into some other SPECWAR programs before applying as a SEAL. Look into Navy SWCC or EOD. If you Enlist and are designated as a SEAL candidate, and then fail or get injured at BUDS, you will be an undesignated sailor literally scraping paint off a boat for shit pay for a few years before you get redesignated. SWCC and EOD are just a cool but have slightly lower attrition rates and therefore a lower chance of you ending up as an undesignated E-1.

    2x per day practice calling yourself "She/Her" and you better be able to remember everyone in your platoon's gender pronouns or you'll wash out!
    Aside from that you have to have incredibly loose sphincter muscles because the military is 100% gay now, this applies TRIPLE to the Gayvy SEALS.

    Focus on the public knowledge tests so to speak, do them daily as tests, take 2 rest days per week other than the weight lifting ones. Running and swimming a lot will help as well as weighted pull ups.

    Americans think everything is like a movie. That's your first mistake. Sure, a lot of newbies start big, but that does not last, and it will work against you.

    Cardio, bodyweight exercises, stamina, heart, mental strength, drive, vision.

    Most people at Seal level fail, up to 80% or something, and plenty of them have experience in the military already.

    If you want to shoot less people, do what I did. Join Force Reconnaissance. You get to be a cool thief larp character, operating within the shadows. This does mean at times 24 hours a day sitting in a hole and observing. Your bench press ain't gonna mean shit, and you are not getting those 250 grams of protein.
