Not at all. Asians have great calves, whereas blacks have really high calf insertions. If anything that pic is doing Larry a favor, his calves look far more ridiculous in other pics

      Be heavy
Calves react best to frequent low level training, so being fat and walking is the best way to get beefy calves

      this
I spent most of my young life fat and even after losing most of the weight and not doing any training (just irregular cardio) my calves are meaty
      start walking with weighted pants

Learn to walk on the front of your feet.
Pretend you're a ninja or an amazon trying to reduce noise or something.
If you're a fag, start wearing high heels, otherwise get rear-foot inserts (these also make you an inch taller, so you can make it above the 6'5 cutoff)

Forefoot strike is the natural way you should walk. Most people unlearn this because social norms.
Autistic people don't care about social norms so they never unlearn this.

you don't have to walk all the way on your toes my man, just don't heelstrike.
If you walked in barefeet, you would almost never heelstrike.

You're never going to get big calves from sitting on your backside all day then doing a few sets and reps scheme of some meme exercise in the gym. Like forearms they respond to megavolume, you need to be using them as often as you can. Walk fast and walk a lot, always accelerate off the toes, run up staircases two at a time. Don't take the lift, if you can walk instead of driving or taking public transport then do. It's the same kind of reason labourers have the meatiest forearms, because they spend the whole day using them.
    >t. 17.5 inch calves because I lived on the fifth floor and walked 6 miles every day

      cope
it's literally all genetics, I walked more than 5 miles a day for 20 years straight and my calves are 15.5" lol, I started training them and they actually got slightly smaller lmfao, this meme about calves recovering well from tons of volume is bullshit they will get smaller if you do too much exercise.
it's just fucking genetics, your forearms also will start aching if you do meme megavolume training for them, they will get inflammed and your elbow and wrist will get aches and pains, it's just fucking genetics+hormones

HEAVY calf raises. Your legs lift your fat ass all day long. They laugh at anything but heavy weights.

I go on walks with a weighted backpack, do interval runs, and calf raises. Was told the other day by my (gay) brother-in-law that I have nice calves. I don't know if that meant massive or aesthetic, but it's the first compliment I've gotten in years so I'm taking it.

But your toes on blocks a few inches high and do 5x20 bw with a slow pace. Barefoot. 3x a week. When those get easy do as many one legged as possible first then switch to 2 leg. Poliquin recommended donkey calf raises but they look ridiculous imo

Calf raises. Slow and controlled. Peak contraction for a second at the top and a couple seconds of loaded stretch at the bottom. One set to failure of 12-20. When you hit 20 raise the weight to where you can do about 12. Rest until you feel recovered plus one day. No bullshit. If calf raises don't work for you then you didnt do them like this.

Smith machine calf raises and seated plate loaded if you have one in the gym

High reps 10 - 20 say 4 - 5 sets at least 4x a week rest enough to feel strong enough to do at least 10 again calf are like forearms they recover quick and can take a beating former calflet after 2 years of or quad and hamstring work started to make it really noticeable
