You're never going to get big calves from sitting on your backside all day then doing a few sets and reps scheme of some meme exercise in the gym. Like forearms they respond to megavolume, you need to be using them as often as you can. Walk fast and walk a lot, always accelerate off the toes, run up staircases two at a time. Don't take the lift, if you can walk instead of driving or taking public transport then do. It's the same kind of reason labourers have the meatiest forearms, because they spend the whole day using them.

Calf raises. Slow and controlled. Peak contraction for a second at the top and a couple seconds of loaded stretch at the bottom. One set to failure of 12-20. When you hit 20 raise the weight to where you can do about 12. Rest until you feel recovered plus one day. No bullshit. If calf raises don't work for you then you didnt do them like this.
