What's the best brand of minoxidil? I planned to use it for beard growth. Saw some people here talking about Kirkland. MPMD apparently has a minoxidil product too that's supposed to be less sticky/drying if anyone can attest to that.

How do you use it for your beard? Don't you have to be clean shaven all the time so you can effectively apply it?

Not always clean shaven but it must not grow too much. I shave every couple weeks to apply it effectively

      Does it actually bring results?

most people who do it get some visible results but it's no guarantee you'll get a full beard.

      Why

Heard it's harder to dose the foam

you literally just put the pipette to the 1ml mark and drop it on your scalp.

Objectively wrong. Liquid makes more skin contact and absorbs better.

It’s literally the same thing no matter what store brand. It’s all made by the same company just packaged per store.
This applies to almost every store brand OTC btw.

It's all the same shit. I've been using the foam for years (just make sure to rub it in your scalp), works well.

    >minoxidil
use peppermint oil, less side effects, cheaper, and more effective in every trial than minoxidil.
mix it with jojaba oil, you can find ratios online.
or you can continue to shill out tons of money to ~~*them*~~. your choice newbie.

      post studies lol
      probably some pajeet study
i putted peppermint and rosemary oil on my head for a year and it literally did nothing (+dermarolling)
im now on minoxidil and i had zero side effects and hair actually started growing
since a month on ru58441 and it’s even better now with no side effects

oils might be fine you are a hyperresponder and if you have minimal hairloss
for anything else you are better off with actual medication

Min has plenty of side effects. Only balding people who are depressed enough should take it. Putting it on your face to grow le beard is plain moronic

Take 2.5mg orally instead. Works much better and you don't have to spend time applying greasy shit to your hair.

I'm pretty sure it affects blood pressure so that might be why, some people get heart palpitations from it. Imo it's mild enough that as long as you stop if you get some side effects the risk should be minimal, just don't persevere with it if you feel that something's wrong

Thoughts on minoxidil and blood pressure? I used to be 155 lbs and did a lot of sports and I had good blood pressure and cholesterol. Now I’m 190 lbs, I use minox, and the only activity I do is lifting really. I eat healthier though. My blood pressure and cholesterol are both a little high now. I’m not sure if it’s the weight gain or the minox. Might just quit minox since I already have a beard and see if things improve.
