    As someone who has lost 75lbs in one go, I didn't end up with any loose skin that I can recall. At that amount as long as you're not losing it too quickly I'm guessing it should be fine.

    I'm in my journey to lose 100 pounds (25 so far) so this is also a concern for me. What I'm doing:
    apply cocoa butter after shower everyday
    drink lots of water
    taking collagen pills and eating things with collagen such as jello or bone broth
    keep things "tight" as in use form-fitting clothes to keep skin in place to fight gravity a bit
    lose weight slowly
    femanons have a natural advantage on this matter since they are built to not have a lot of loose skin after suddenly losing a 9 month preg belly when giving birth. Also relevant: genetics, age. From what I have seen white people have more of a problem with this than other races. Good luck.

    Intermittent fasting and shorter extended fasts have a beneficial effect on reducing loose skin. This is validated in a number of animal studies and a few human studies.

    Fasting induces apoptosis and autophagy, those are the metabolic mechanisms that are important for shrinking skin. Losing weight at a moderate pace with IF as part of your plan will help a lot, as will incorporating a few 1-3 day fasts during your weight loss. Almost everything else is voodoo.
