Sorry anon I don't mean it as a bait, I'm genuinely interested in steroids. However it's hard to find anything real and distinguish between real and bro science
Not interested in using them, just about how their work and their recent history. Maybe with some personal anecdotes
>I'm genuinely interested in steroids
I happen to know a few things about myostatin from one of my doctor friends. To put it simply:
The human body is always rebuilding itself; literally every system you can think of in your body is constantly being regenerated as your cells are constantly dying - including muscle tissue. Now, your body would actually build as much of *everything* as is physically possible, and for obvious reasons this would be extremely detrimental to your well being considering that your body is a finely tuned machine and that it takes a ridiculous amount of energy to constantly rebuild yourself. So to limit itself, the body produces hormones that inhibit growth of a bodily system. Myostatin is a hormone that reduces the growth of muscle tissue. It's believed this is an evolutionary benefit to conserve energy. Funnily enough though, the body also has a hormone that regulates myostatin levels, called follistatin. So your body controls muscle growth by controlling follistatin levels in your body.
The technology exists nowadays to artificially increase your baseline follistatin levels - it's actually the very same technology the covid 'vaccine' uses. A faux-virus is injected into you that rewrites mRNA sequences to increase follistatin levels. This can also happen as a rare genetic 'defect' in newborns as well (or purposefully bred, as is done in cows). Of course, this is a schedule 1 drug and is highly illegal. Why? Because... uh... uh... it just is.
RNA viruses need complex and rare genetic complexes in order to perform reverse transcription, anon. The COVID "vaccine" was using novel technology and hadn't been tested, but the reason it was dangerous was due to potential autoimmune responses to your own cells producing antigen (in simple terms it tricks the RER AKA the cellular protein factory into producing the proteins COVID uses to attach, which can cause antibodies to tag your cells as intruders in some cases).
Steroids and hormone alterations are illegal largely in part due to the military - it's seen as unethical and dishonorable for a soldier to be exceptionally good at his job.
And on the matters of money wasted, should a soldier happen to have a negative reaction to steroid use, then all of the training put into them was effectively wasted. This is the primary reason for steroids being outlawed.
>But we're not in the military, we're just a buncha dudes tryna get shredded
So?

sauce on this?
>Roids, primarily DBOL, got caught up in the War on Drugs(TM) of the 80s and various moral panics (doped athletes being busted, highly publicized stories of kids taking handfulls every day for sports teams) before being criminalized. Before this prescriptions were easily gained and 5-20mg (based on bodyweight>average to heavyweight, basically)/DBOL for 6 weeks on/3 weeks off/4 times per year was standard dosing. Dianabol is a hugely anabolic (muscle building, not masculinizing) drug that works wonders for sport. However, with the criminalizing of it in the USA it's makers CIBA severely limited then stopped production. The War on Drugs(TM), like with many other things, then created a massive frick up. By taking a safe drug of the market that local doctors were happy to regularly test their local using patients for, it created an underground criminal market overnight where steroid users were now using shitty drugs (like test, tren - from the vetinary market) and no longer had the ability to recieve care from local doctors. The rise of insulin, a dangerous drug to be using for BBing and one which has killed many, was probably a direct result of this too.
This is the first time I've ever heard that. When i was in, almost everybody was on gear and nobody gave a frick as long as they weren't already looking for a reason to kick you out.
I've always heard it had something to do with baseball
Not him but they're not testing for steroids when they screen soldiers for drugs. They're seeing if they test positive for narcotics. It's an open secret that steroid use is very common among career infantrymen.

said. Drug-testing for gear is expensive. So all of those unit-wide and random drug tests are looking for the big 5: THC, meth, PCP, coke, and opiates.
If you're in, just stash your gear and needles away from the barracks in case of random Health and Comfort inspections. I've had a few guys leave their stuff at my house while I was married. If they wanted to, they could keep it in their personal safe.
I should note that shit like tren is a horrible choice for a grunt to take. Test, deca, var, EQ, EPO, and cardarine are better choices
>What's the best way to learn about the science behind steroids, growth hormones etc and their history of "abuse"?
'Basic' intro, easy to digest, stuff that will put you ahead of 99% here:
>Underground Steroid Handbook - DuChaine, which was the OG steroid advice book in the 80s and still much more worthwhile as a 'how to use' guide than the shit you see posted online today >Listen to Dorian Yates podcasts/read his book. and:
>Anabolics by William Llewelyn
The problem you'll find is that there isn't an actual resource for what you're looking for. E.g. it's obvious to anyone with a brain that test and tren shouldn't be the primary drugs of today. They are low on the anabolic/androgenic scale, create ugly physiques compared to the deca/DBOL/primo days of bodybuilding, and aren't even close to good for strength/sports. However their popularity is simply down to both drugs being cheap (sold as bulk powder by the Chinese) and easy to 'cook up' in bathrooms/industrial estates and packed with veg oil for the 'underground market'. They superceeded the drugs of the 80s-90s for this reason, not based on quality. Unfortunately there is no 'roid historian' out there who lays down nuggets of info clearly like this. Most discussion is simply the blind leading the blind.

Exactly. This is why even some trustworthy YouTube channel would be nice to find. It doesn't have to 100% cover anything

Listen to the Dorian Yates podcasts if you want info. He was the top, top, top bodybuilder of his era and arguably the last great one. Most other bodybuilders of the era are either too stupid or lying too much to bother listening to.
Frick me that's not my image, I'm not a homosexual
Liking Emil makes you a Chad.
Who's image is it then anon?

It's bollocks. From what I gathered in the USA:

Did you not get tested for it randomly?

So what are you suggesting? TRT doses plus clean anabolics like primo or var?
Current SARMS are unironically the future.
Injecting other peiple and taking notes. Leaving some as a control group... chill glowies, it's a ironic recommendation.
How good is the reddit guide?
/Fraud/ Tells people to go there before asking begineer questions so I imagine it's decent enough.
