Seed oils. If you can find peanut butter without it it's alright

Even if you get 100% pure natural peanut butter it'll be an issue because peanuts are full of PUFAs

I’m glad you learned a new word, but you’re gonna have to research it a little more.

Nuts are pretty based. If you buy the ones where the ingredients list is just peanuts and salt and nothing else then it’s great

Peanuts are not the superior nut for proteins but no other nut tastes superior to peanuts.

Make it with peanut powder for less calories and more protein, just add water and whey if you want to.

Calories. Very few people count them properly imo.

It's also overly processed slop, but if you're living in the west, everyrhing is nowadays. So I'll just say calories.

I used to work at a natural peanut butter factory. Natural meaning pure milled peanuts. Look on the back and the ingredients should just be peanuts and salt.
Occasionally, we'd make kraft style peanut butter and the process is hard vegetable fat melted into a vat and a few buckets of salt.
      That's what's wrong with OP's picrel

If it comes in plastic (which pretty much all peanut butter does), it consumes the plastic of the container, and you're literally eating cancer.

It doesn't matter how organic or natural it is - if it comes in a plastic bottle or whatever, it's cancer.

Where do you live that all the peanut butter jars are plastic?

Commercial peanut butter has bug parts. Put the peanuts into the blender yourself.

If you get the healthy kind it's close enough to being a whole food as makes no difference.

I get the Smuckers brand, if you want to buy commercial. Only peanuts and a little salt and they come in glass jars. They are ideal goyslop for a bulk.

Which brands are safe? I usually get the "natural" Smuckers pb. Should I switch to powder?

No. The natural one still has added oil. Get Laura Scudders it's my go to
