because it's fast, energetic, and gets you amped up. Plus a lot of it is classic catchy pop that's like sugar for your ears and gets the dopamine flowing. No one is listening to slow dirges to get their blood flowing
>Hears hardstyle for the first time >WTF is this shit >Hear it after 2 years >Something clicks >Frick yeah bruh, we go to the JIM >Listen exclusively to hardstyle during workout >Obtain best physique of my life >Thank you Zyzz
Basically this
I thought it sounded like absolute dogshit the first time I heard it. But as my workouts became more and more draining my usual music just wasn’t getting it done. Tried hardstyle again and it’s the only thing that hits right for a grueling intense long bodybuilding workout
The only thing that annoys me with the newer songs is the fricking "boinkboinkboink" sound instead of actual sharp hardcore bass hitting
Idk but i find it somewhat cringe
To each his own i guess
It’s easy to zone in and out of and be high energy whenever you listen back to it. You don’t have to spend so much time listening to it but can just experience it while lifting.
it's high energy and fun

I do, slow black metal is great for lifting heavy
I like black metal, but hardstyle is better for lifting. Therefore, black metal is gay.
Post hardstyle gains

I accept your concession.
Better than being Gaahl, bro. I accept your coming out as gay
The best hardstyle is classic hardstyle remixes of old school trance, especially trance songs Zyzz listened to.
FUAAAAAAAAARK
hardstyle is legit the most fricking gayest genre of edm and this is coming from someone who listens to house

Fuark a man of culture I see. New hardstyle is shit post 2016 or so.
Not listening to old school Alex K, Sunset bros NRG. NGMI
Gym hardstyle is gay as frick and is a pop normie version of actual hardstyle, normies ruin everything and i wish it would go back to being unpopular
If you actually want hardstyle go listen to subzero project, warface, delete, headhunterz, etc
Based. I just use a timeframe to describe good hardstyle. The sweet spot is somewhere from 2007-2015.
