inability to accept that "acceptable food" is relative to culture - and that culture changes - is a level of moronation that can only be deliberate. it is a level of moronation you adopt to avoid having to admit that every post you have made in this thread was moronic.
but alas you can only compound, not undo, prior moronation
>I attacked your central thesis - that everything which might be emotional is Le Bad™
that's not my central thesis.
my central thesis is that the only basis on which to oppose eating [food] over [other food] is emotional, assuming both foods are safe and nutritious (discounting qualia).
if you think your emotional argument over why [food] is better than [other food] is so compelling and rigorous as to stand up to detached and unemotional scientific/pragmatic scrutiny then by all means take your best forlorn shot.
i contend that no such argument exists and it follows with an elegant inevitability that therefore all opposition to roach milk is moronic.

okay. nobody can make you do anything you don't want to do, but if you can't articulate a rational reason for your behaviour then maybe it's not rational.
>"reason isn't everything! emotions are important!"
emotions aren't everything either. reason is also important.
that's basically the whole thread up until now and it's the logical endpoint of this discussion. the only reason this thread is so garbage is because of /misc/ contrarians who thought they'd caught a postmodernist and couldn't wait to bring out their heavy artillery even if it wasn't relevant.
in truth it's exactly like i said. the question "should we drink roach milk" has a technically correct answer and arriving at the answer is a boring process of maths and science that yields a boring conclusion. the problem occurs when this answer collides with the entrenched interests of wealthy people who spend money to attach an emotional component to the discussion. as you can see here people are already full of emotions about this stupid shit but without a media campaign acting as a bellows the furnace never really gets hot.
He's being a contrarian to get (You)s. From there, he can just "intellectually" attack people by claiming their arguments are in bad faith, midwit emotional vomiting, etc. In effect, it's the same deal with arguing with homeopathic/crystal healing types of people. Notice, there's a gigantic jump in logic, wienerroaches don't really provide that much nutritional value beyond middling amounts of protein. You need more than just protein, you need things like iron, calcium, the vitamins, etc. This is why there's a gigantic argument against grasshoppers in general, they don't provide enough micro-nutrients that we'd need.

c. versicolor spiderlings are notorious for randomly dying. One of them I thought was doing fine, and then one day I just find it on the ground of it's enclosure (they are usually up on the fake plants) and it was dead , the other one didn't eat for a long time, it was very thin even though I regularly left it food, and then one day I just found it dead in it's web, the abdomen looked like it burst open

that's a type of mushroom, too. anti-cancer and good for the immune system, can be found anywhere

How many pounds a week would you have to eat for sustenance? I don't think they're that nutritious.
Quit pussyfooting and give me fried crickets like my ancestors ate.
The problem is that these new foods are obvious ploys by a technocratic concensus to offset our environmental impact without attacking the profits of organizations that benefit from its exploitation.
We concede our paultry niceties and eat the bugs for the sake of yuppies in san francisco or zurich.
You're trying to argue against emotions, but it's an emotional endeavor to try and control your emotions. If you knew a damn thing besides larping with your sigma grindset wannabe stoicism, you'd know precisely how and why you're being moronic. You type like someone who's been watching too much destiny/vaush streams, stringing together big words through illogical jumps. All this to justify eating wienerroaches, an opinion that is purely contrarian in scope and not something you held prior to this thread. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are.
>You're trying to argue against emotions
are you implying that whatever our emotions tell us to do is always the right thing to do?
no?
then it is obviously necessary at least in some situations to prevail upon people's capacity for reason and their ability to override - or tolerate - unpleasant emotions because they rationally know there is a purpose worth achieving.
the problem with arguing on IST is that you people have so little insight that many bad arguments that better posters would think of and then discard for being shit you guys actually post, which means i am forced to wade through the vomit of sub-midwits. your ideas aren't even interesting.
Dude is probably cooking up a hot >> with all sorts of shit about how he's in complete emotional control even though he's going full on cope and seethe mode kek

how did they die? it seems almost impossible to kill these homies. i sometimes don't feed mine for more than a month.
c. versicolor spiderlings are notorious for randomly dying. One of them I thought was doing fine, and then one day I just find it on the ground of it's enclosure (they are usually up on the fake plants) and it was dead , the other one didn't eat for a long time, it was very thin even though I regularly left it food, and then one day I just found it dead in it's web, the abdomen looked like it burst open
>c. versicolor
that's a type of mushroom, too. anti-cancer and good for the immune system, can be found anywhere
>They require 5 minutes of maintenance per week, and setting a colony up is super easy and cheap
How many pounds a week would you have to eat for sustenance? I don't think they're that nutritious.
wienerroaches are gay.
Mmmmmmmm yum imagine sucking turkish women breasts
dont tell me you wouldnt
just eat plants you freaks
>"scientists"
>"experts"
Imagine being primed to feast on insects like some lesser animal.
>What's the downside
your character
your integrity
your soul
Its not ''milk'' anon or anything close like it
Is this what they want us to look like?

Those traps are out of this world
I can think of one
you can milk my wiener op
What’s the downside?
It's very small and the milk is filled with estrogens
>What's the downside
The indignity.
Are we unironically getting a futurama gmo wienerroach cow for milk and meat in the future
Yes and we will fight our bretheren turned wienerroaches
Ya dig what's being said? Go lift big boy weights
Dude is probably cooking up a hot >> with all sorts of shit about how he's in complete emotional control even though he's going full on cope and seethe mode kek
lol they don't know when to stop with this type of shit. until one day, for no reason at all...
